Recently i just bought domain: googletv.asia

Will I be sued by google for violating their privacy right?

What is the best content should i put for this website?

lol, two totally different answers. pick one :)

I'm guessing you will get your ass kicked.

i think i get f** faster than rabbit! hhauhuauhhauhuahhauhau

better email google and ask them... maybe a lawyer letter will come to me hahahha

so wat should i do with the domain?

They normally send a cease and desist letter and will request you hand over the domain. Cases that have been won against them are the likes of froogle and one other one where they where not trying to imitate the "big g". They fight for their trademark so be warned.

I guess lesson learnt! silly me! dont know what i was thinking! :o

NEVER BUY A TRADEMARK DOMAIN!!!!

hmmmm I jsut bought

google-amazon-facebook-twitter-youtube.com

Will I get sued?

Well, I also registered a google sounds domain this month.
Its seven letters and it look like g***gle.com

I made a site on it and going good. Lets see how google look into this domain..

I dont think, he will be sued for this as i saw many domain names as google assassin, google predator.

You may or may not be contacted by them depending on how much exposure your site gets. If you decide to continue using the domain, just be prepared for it if it does happen. Google has been known to fight for their trademark...

Its a grey area buying domains with the trademark in.

Im no lawyer, but from what I understand it ultimately boils down to whether you are deceiving the public into thinking the site is owned by Google.

Loads of people buy domains like buyipad.com buywindows7.com etc and theres no problem.

In reality unless your site goes big time you will probably never hear anything from Google.

Its not outright illegal though like some people on here are making out.

what i think. They cant do nything about the domain. like jimbo2087 says it.

the only trouble you can get in is if try to portray the site as a google site. then google can haul yo aas anywhere they want to.
and usually in that case they wudnt bother if your site is not popular. once it is, they will step in. and they will step in bad

try putting a disclaimer on top ? that it is no way associated with google. make it visible, not on some hidden page in small text in about me

I think if u r site doesnt grow and stays under the radar the might not do anything to u.. But if it starts growing and u get traffic, im sure they ll come after u.. They did come after all other imitating sites..

Yeah, they'll eat you alive. Seriously, if you're worried about getting sued why even register a trademark domain? Hope you signed up with fake info to your registrar :D

I don't think G will bother with suing you. But they surely will ban you.

Hmmm this is interesting because last week I did some massive work on a new domain I bought www.googlesandroids.com. It is all about the android platform and I want to have some affiliates onsite for phones etc...it is going to be review source on all android platforms.

Now I am a bit worried.

no u dont have to worry, nothing is going to happen, i have read about it,

what u should do,
1) transfer that domain to some bulletproof company like moniker or some chinese company,
2) start a bussiness/fake it , by the same name of ur domain name.

then they cant do anything.

law says, if ur sitting on domain only to get higher bucks and if its a trademark of some other company, then u have to let it go, so if u dont want loose it start something with it ASAP , and dont forget to tranfer it to some bulletproof registrar,
suppose google wins the battle , still they cant do anything with bulletproof or chinese registrar.

GOOGLE DOES NOT OWNS INTERNET.
