If I'm ranking on 40+ keywords, and I lock the content for members only and asked them to signup to access the post - will Google remove my rankings?

In this case when the google crawler goes through the page it save the sign up page not the content and when the content will not be saved in google database it will never rank the website.

It’ll not because the crawler will yet be able to access the page so it’s okay

If the robots are still able to achieve the content, so you will still rank as there is pther sites such as Quora ranking for millions of keywords. But tbh it totally depends on each situation.
