    Hi,

I have a question about indexing Wikipedia links. I created a brand new account and edited some articles for about two to three weeks, replacing dead links and typos along the way.

Once I gained a bit of trust from other editors, I replaced a dead link to one of my websites. Afterward, I added the link to the article in Indexification.com

Hoping it would help me get it indexed quicker. Unfortunately, it didn't get indexed at all. I tried using Indexification two times more, but now it was almost two months ago.

I know the opinions regarding the SEO value of Wikipedia links vary a lot, but I was wondering if someone knows how I can get the darn link indexed by Google.

Note: The tool I use to inspect links is Ahrefs.

I don't want to argue at all but it seems that Google webmasters do show the Wikipedia link, so it did get indexed. I somehow forgot about checking links in Webmasters and only focussed on Ahrefs.
I also wasn't able to find anything related to "noindex" or "no-index" after inspecting the sourcecode. However, Wikipedia links are "nofollow".

Wikipedia links are no follow, bur carries a great authority. And yes your link might not appear in google search results as you are expecting as these are no index nofollow.

    Sorry for the late response.

I edited links for about two weeks. Each day replacing or removing dead links.

Once I gained their trust I threw one of my own links in one of the articles.

Do you think it's a good idea to make an tutorial about how to obtain a wiki link?

Wikipedia pretty strict with its spam policy, the more spam they get, the harder they will accept new volunteer.

Wikipedia links gets indexed for sure but the link is no-follow. If it's not showing up in AHREFS it must show with GWT.
