I finally responded to the "Invalid activity appeal" with the email
[email protected]. Was that the email you wrote to? How long did it take for you to receive a response?
I responded with the following:
--------------------------------
Thank you very much for going through the appeal.
There is some information I’ve forgotten to put in the appeal, that should clear things up.
Let me just start by saying that I’ve spend a lot of time creating a high quality solitaire game platform and I’ve never had any intent to break any of the AdSense rules, so I really hope you can help me change my site, so it won’t break any of the AdSense rules.
I’ve asked around and these are potential things that could have caused invalid click activity:
- Accidental clicks: I didn’t think about it when I created the game, but the ads are very close to the "actionable" area, which might have caused some accidental clicks from my users. One of my competitors (worldofsolitaire dot com) have also implemented Google Ads, but they have the ads in the right side and have a good deal of space between the actionable area and the ad itself.
- Clicks from a Mac desktop application: I’ve created a desktop version of my web application and I was showing ads in that desktop application by mistake.
Please let me know what the reason is, so I can change the site and get my AdSense account turned back on. If there are any other reasons than the ones I’ve listed above, please let me know as well.
I’m hoping very much to hear from you.
