Why stay away from WordPress

WP is for quick and easy blog networks - If you want to build sites learn to code.

Looked into Drupal somewhat seriously, but seemed to need a heftier hosting setup every time when compared to Wordpress.

Wp is great if you need a quick website to begin promoting your product, not sure if i agree that google doesn't like Wp sites.

if you build a blog network with any sites sharing an ip linking to eachother it will be devalued, it doesn't matter what the CMS is,
organically you can find large clusters of wordpress sites that link only to other wordpress sites with the occasional joomla or wiki target
if you build it smart the entire blog network can be wordpress without leaving a footprint, something like 20-30% of the internet runs on wordpress so it's just stupid fearmongering you are spouting there

please, if you haven't actually tested it, STFU WITH THE TRIBAL KNOWLEDGE BULLSHIT

on second though, keep it up, i will not be correcting any more falsehoods in this thread, if my competition wants to hobble themselves by believing this shit let them, it'll just be easier for me to beat the fools that believe this makebelieve fairy tale bullshit

thanks, thanks, thanks. this thread is so fucking stupid, your post seems to glow out of the mass.

Serious websites use static HTML or Drupal CMS

I laugh and roll my eyes when I see web design companies advertising for Wordpress site designers

So CNN and TIME is not serious websites I guess...

Guidelines for uniqueness is pretty useful to me.Thanks

This is an old post, and so many things has change since then. I use wordpress, is not that I don't use it. But as with any tool do you do what others do? Just imagine what would happen if everyone had the same link scheme.

Any way closing this thread is old, is been dormant for quite a while until some peeps wanted to boost their post count.
