Why my website takes long time for google ranking?

Hey guys
I started an android apk website and want to earn from it from google ads, i focus on building backlinks but its takes more than 5 months without any results.
why is that ?

You’re absolutely right that new domains need time, especially in competitive niches like APK. Google doesn’t hand out trust overnight.

1. for apk sites, use another form of monetization
2. apk niche is heavy competition, so you really need to push the authority of your site

You should check the level of competition for your keywords. APK-related keywords are usually very competitive, so you should start by targeting niche keywords for SEO to gain initial traffic, then gradually focus on more competitive keywords.
 
Totally normal — new sites (especially APK niches) sit in sandbox phase for months. Backlinks alone won’t move the needle; focus on topical content, internal linking, and trust signals. Results usually lag.

I think it takes time because SEO needs patience keep improving content quality, backlinks and site speed, and rankings will gradually stabilize.

Go To Semrush and check the difficulty of your keywords.
try to target the keywords that aren't big and are less competitive.

Then learn how competitors which are in 1-10 position are presenting their content.
Use the same technique, then follow their backlink profiles.
