You might find that you've been making a number of posts, but your post count doesn't seem to have caught up. That's because if you are posting in The Lounge, these posts will not contribute to your post count.
The reason behind this decision is that The Lounge is somewhere for our members to kick back and chat. It's the place for conversations that have nothing to do with IM and SEO. If the posts have got nothing to do with the subject matter of the forum, they can't really add to your digital marketing kudos and by extension, your post count.
A post can refer to a thread or a reply to a thread. But some areas of the forum will not contribute to your post count.so, is a reply a post?
interesting as I posted 3 posts between yesterday and today replying to regular posts not in the lounge and they never increased count. Can someone post a list of places where your post count does NOT increase?
Thank you.
Just try to be a helpful community member and you'd eventually increase your post count.I want to know too
I read the rules very carefully but it seems that this forum is very strict in controlling posts, right? You do realise the rules state that you are not allowed to inflate your post count?

Have a go at it again please.
Without strict rules this forum will turn into spammers heaven. If you check similar forums on the internet, that are not as tightly moderated as BHW, then you will see why our rules are so strict.I read the rules very carefully but it seems that this forum is very strict in controlling posts, right?

At junior member level without paid (100 posts) , could I sell or buy any service , just for information?
First , if I successfully get Jr.VIP membership level than for each post Have I to pay 30$ per sale thread .You can buy services on the forum. This means you can post in the Want To Buy and Hire A Freelancer sections to request services or products.
However, selling services is restricted to members who have https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/upgrades.
To sell on BHW, you need to obtain either a Jr. VIP or Marketplace Seller membership.
Jr. VIP Membership Requirements:
- Be a member of the forum for at least 60 days.
- Have made a minimum of 100 quality posts.
- Pay an annual fee of $147.
Once you meet these criteria and upgrade to Jr. VIP, you'll be able to submit a sales thread for approval in the Marketplace.
Marketplace Seller Membership:
- This option is available immediately without the 60 day and 100 post requirements.
- It requires a higher annual fee of $749.
Please note that selling services without the appropriate membership upgrade is against BlackHat World rules and can result in warnings or account suspension.

My post count did not increase after days of posting in the lounge. I am glad I now know why
Posts made in the Lounge (just Lounge) don't count toward your total post count, which is why you're not seeing any increase.
