Why is Google abusing their power to oppress webmasters?

So we need to talk about this...Google is now blocking all ads on websites that violate their better ads standards, in the chrome browser.

Why tf does Google think they have the right to do this?!
They are the same one fighting for net neutrality and at the same time using their power to control the type of ads that webmaster put on their sites. The fcking irony. Worry about ISPs throttling access to their services while cutting ad revenue for sites that they don't like.

They don't realize that the webmasters are the ones that gave them the power that they are abusing. What would Google be if all important sites blocked their crawlers?

What are your thoughts on this?
Is this the end of pop unders, pop-ups, content lockers etc?

If we are talking pop ups and shite, I hope they do ban them.

Their aim is deny us the benefit of engaging the massive advertising exposure that they know is possible on their platform. Thats why they continually change their algorithms to keep us from making easy money with "their super precious adsense."

It's kind of fair enough, google can so what they like.

I make my money doing some of this shit and I am ok with it, it's logical to improve user experience as much as it is to exploit it when you can.

Recently I have added PopAds popunder to my site and traffic drastically decreased almost on a half from 11k visitors/day to 6k/day, and google bot doesn't crawl new pages anymore.
Thanks for the link to betterads.org, I am thinking to try Pop-up Ads.

See...seems like they intend to keep you from generating any extra traffic... google is crewel crewel site.

They are the big bully on the block. Much like how Amazon bullies independent sellers. They abuse because they can.

On the 12th of December google went through a algorithm core update Called "Makkabi" called like this because its happens on Hanukkah or "Fred" cause google didn't had a better name for it.
a lot of website were affected, its probably not because of the popads
