Hey Guys,

today I saw a advertisement on BHW for a web traffic generator but I don’t know really much about websites and traffic.

So I’m asking myself for what people are using these traffic generators....I thought that they maybe are scamming as networks or something but I’m not shure.

So it would be cool if anybody could help me with this because I’m interested but I don’t know about it.

everybody is selling them, they just make it look like the traffic is coming from FB google and so on. It is faily easy to do

Social Media can be a legit traffic generator.

Can a bot traffic boost your own site ranking if you use residential proxies and configure headers so that it looks like coming from FB, instagram, reddit etc?

nope, u are just ddosing yourself, google know this is bot traffic and will penalized the website eventually

Another option is just to fake analytics/clients

Can you share some examples of sites do this kind of service?

If we use organic traffic generator, will it be shown as organic traffic on tools like ahref and semrush?

For Alexa boosting, nothing more lol :) Or maybe trick people for afterward reselling the websites...

Faking stats for a client, or selling your own site.

Also selling them as "real traffic" seems to be a big thing, especially on Fiverr.

The only real thing I see it could be used for is stress-testing.

Well, this is not necessarily the case. There are times when even fake traffic can be useful when you are trying to create a twister effect where you create hype for something before completely abandoning it to its destruction. It's mostly about gaining traction before launching the real thing. However, there are more trustworthy services where you can actually buy targeted traffic. That's pretty much what Google and Facebook does, isn't it? Then again, you can always turn to services like trafix, fiverr, webtrafficgeeks.org, and other social media sites.. again, which of them will serve your needs will depend on your needs, in the first place
