what a horror in gutenberg standard blocks when I add a cover block, I can set the font size and color, but not the font family, so any website who uses the standard gutenberg blocks their fornt will look near the same.
That millions of people not recognize this sort of shit.
Maybe I give Drupal a try....will test out again Elementor on another theme.

Did you try Joomla? Is the most CMS used for blogging.. They are side to side with Wordpress...
Perhaps you like it.
Also I told you to try DLE or Ghost

I'm not big fan of Wordpress, but it's very easy to use, edit webpages, install a lot of useful plugins. The best part, I don't have to hire a programmer, which saved me a shit ton of money. Now that I come across @Festinger , he saved me tremendous amount of money of premium plugins.
I find it funny that most people here say WordPress is easy... it's almost impossible to get a good-quality site up and running, especially if it needs some advanced features like e-commerce, user log-in, etc. without hunting for premium plugins or manually coding large parts.
Don't get me wrong, I use WordPress for years and I love it. But more than anything, I think it's just a force of habit. I am aware of other much simpler builders that can get the work done in less time. Often they are even cheaper when you factor in premium WP plugins and quality hosting.

That is why I said in my post if someone will do store or ecommerce, please don't use woocommerce it is heavy and you will need plugins for everything.
Opencart, prestashop, shopify have it by default that is why they are better. Wordpress is a good way to make your store slower with 1000+ listings of products.
By default opencart or prestashop have features to selling and is more focused in selling and stores than wordpress.
Wordpress doesn't have that.

two years ago I tried Laravel was not able to use that complicated thing, so I think cms like Ghost will be in the same league (correct me if I be wrong)
So maybe joomla, in the past ( 5 years ago) it was not easy to use , complicated menu structure....I hope that is fixed and it is more easier today.
Drupal uffff , can not say if it's easy to use today with their layout builder.
Squarespace yes I like it, but for that I must cancel a real good web hosting and my dedicated ip address, ok I have a second domain on that same web host...(here I use wordpress with a more simple blog layout not a grid)
Here my screenshot with a template from Spectra plugin huge gape between primary header navbar and the hero header , between is the page title, does this looking like a professional website for you folks ?
And the hero header is not aligned with the width of the header navbar.....so you have to do a lot of css tweakings (with simple css plugin) this all is sick.
Maybe on joomla I find more easy a theme who has logo+ tagline side by side and a modern grid blog layout , in wordpress you need the half day to find one theme with that filter.
In the moment gutenverse plugin +spectra are the only one where you can add sections and you can change the font-family of the section.
When you using the more core standard gutenberg blocks, you can not change the font family in the blocks, example the cover block, here you can change only font-size and color not more. This is crap. I can not change font family in an cms editor with blocks , come on guys....

today here my screen with twenty twentig theme Brooklyn, does this with logo+tagline looks professional for you?
Does a professional cms system causing such weird things is normal for you or is normal for you to have only logo or tagline?
Hard to setup these simple things in gutenberg, most themes today are seo crap they have logo or tagline , but not both on their theme option settings.
Does this make sense?

You can save 3000 hours by just opening a HAF thread instead of trying as hard as you do. You will make more money focusing on selling on those 3000 hours of trying to set up a decent website by yourself, not everyone is good at any CMS. Delegate is word for you in your situation.

Nope I hate it. The developer experience for wp is crappy. To implement any feature, you will always feel like you are fighting against their structure. Heckk, it comes with it’s own db structure.
The reason why people like it is very simple. It is easy to get started with, and you can do some features (atleast gui wise) by yourself, without any coding skills. Plus the plugin and themes marketplaces are pretty dope.
But it is like a handicap. Unless you leave it and learn real web dev stuffs, you will stick to it and continue making semi crappy stuffs (and try to optimise crap) forever.

That video is old.. that is Joomla 3, now is in Joomla 4 with better and bigger updates..

Heck I be on the way tofind my workaround in wp.
The only theme who works well for me= Generetepress ere I will set up pages then insert post grid layout in them for my blogs.
Then have kadence themes+ blocks, ultimate blocks, and editorskit. With that I can set font size, family style all that for any block, but not in the gutenberg editor, first I must insert blocks with text- then save, then go back to admin menu =customize, here I can change the fonts with this editorskit plugin.
And have a color schemer plugin works well.
Biggest surprise for me today was I found patterns in the wordpress org libaray , not have ssen them before, very beautiful patterns easy to insert.
With this workaround I can build my page.....

Still some problems exist till today:
when I adding wordpress org libraries patterns, some of them not looking good on mobile.
-but I can not change / resize the block for best mobile view (not possible in block editor -no options exist)
- the fonts in the block (heading, button, hero, text...) I can not set font family, I can only change color and the size, that's all within the block editor.
It is not the concept of an block builder that you must set media queries for mobile view or you must set font family in additional css.
How do you guys fix these problems? It is really sick that there are no options for this in the block editor.

So after testing a few wordpress org patterns I not use them anymore because, the patterns I used are not good coded, they not match the width of the generatepress theme.
Set the page to contain, the hero header contained or cover (full width) no matter, it is not aligned with the width of the header navbar, it looks horrible. I can stretch the hero header but then it looks more horrible.
Today I setup genesis blocks plugin, gutenberg, kadence blocks and all patterns working fine with the generatepress theme width.
Only little downside is with generatepress theme logo+ branding name side by side is not working well, then the responsvie toggle menu is not showing up, only when I set the logo witfh to 20px and the site title font to 20px too, but it looks too small to recognize brand name and logo.
So I only have the site title (brand name) in site identidy area.
The name of H1 page title is different and I have put this on my custom page as paragraph block with H1 and customized font settings (font-family , size and color)
I hope this will not disturb the search result title which should have: branding name + H1 title +description I can achieve that with the all in ine seo plugin.
So it is a compromise.
But guys really, all big websites have their logo+branding name side by side not above, or below with line breaking, ok you not recognize it because wp is a world class cms..
