because it's super easy to setup, lots of themes and plugins and doesn't cost monthly
You forget Custom made CMS.Hi folks here !
Yes I like WP too it's easy to design.
When it comes to seo, I be not so sure...
Look at sites like (these are examples) thisiswhyibroke, bestreviews.com.........and many more in different niches and different business models.
Take a look at the source code from bestreviews.com it is clean very well seo structured.
Check it which cms detector tool but it not shows any results "we could not detect any cms on this site"
All cms like joomla, wix, squarespace and WP too have the same source code struture but not the well seo strutured code like bestreviews.com, may they build it build with ruby rails?
The source code from Drupal is better more clean, but I was not able in D8 to build a menu with six pages and child pages...complicated bullshit crap of cms.
Maybe I'm overwhelming , but I wish I could find out what cms bestreviews use in the sourcecodeI not find the type of cms.
Correct me if I wrong.
And by the way...when the folks claim that WP is most use cms in the world with 41%......
No for me majority is for me all above 51% right? So also the majority of 59% in the world use different cms systems not wp. I wonder which free cms that will be, Drupal will be not is too complicated and only few percent in the world use it.
No wix, weebly, joomla, squarespace etc,etc,etc...and wipe out the very expensive cms systems media newspapers use.
Others like cushy cms, silverstripe, pagekit only a fraction global users use it.
So I wonder wich one cms systems are left html5, modx, ruby rails?
WordPress is written in the PHP programming language and the MySQL database. WordPress is free but good, easy to use and most popular in the world. Why do you like WordPress? Do you believe WordPress is still unbeatable in terms of blogging and SEO?
