white hat is more safe for website but need time to achieve the top rank
black hat is short cut,it's quick but kind of not safe,but if you know all the trick,it can be better
 
white hats are generally the rule followers and black hats go by their own rules :cool:
 
Almost veverything we doo is black hat. White hat is only the natural growing of the websites. That's what I think.

with this I just want to add white hate in some what costly and time consuming while other one is quick and even free in most case.
 
A little bit of both so something like grey SEO, tho i dont like auto tools, so i use them to find links and optimize, i like to do things manually. But pro SEO-ers have success with auto thingies, luckily i have only one money site and enough time.
 
All link building techniques are blackhat in google's eyes. but its going to be impossible for them to penalize everyone.

White hat - This is when you pray that your visitors are going to make backlinks for you. ( This could be a very very very very slow process)

Blackhat- Get it faster, but if your caught their are penalties to pay. (Dreaded "Unnatural links detected" in Google webmaster tools)
 
Whitehat: Taking a 5 hours ride to the destination using your car
Blackhat: Taking a plane which takes 2 hours or less.

In short, if you say black hat, it means that your taking the shortest way possible to do your work. It has risks of failing but a trial and error is good
 
i am a newbie .. learning IM .. Think reliable is white hat will do good .. while black hat is for Faster and unstable results ..

And NoHat is when you stand on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere and pray that a car comes by to take you to your destination. LOL couldn't resist to throw in a joke.

On a serious note, I prefer a mixture of black and white hat. Planning on finding a bunch of high PR sites (blogs, forums, etc.) and hiring a cheap VA to manually create backlinks over the period of a month to make it look as natural as possible. Other things I plan on doing as well, but too lazy to type. :D
 
You need to have a mixture of both, greyhat if you will.. but with a bit more depth. There are so many things you can do to get good rankings on serps... its just you have to do them correctly.
