Which one is better? FB ads or Instagram influencers?

Hello IMers,
Which one do you think have the best impact with almost same number of reach? An FB ad with targeted audience or Instagram influencer with same niche.
I am thinking that, though the reach and audience might be same, but in FB ads its showing sponsored from unknown page or brand while in Insta, people will see the ad by whom they already following.

P.S.- Believe it or not, I don't have an Insta I'd yet. Only used FB and G /Bing ads.

Most people might not buy your products immediately after seeing your ads even on Instagram influencer post let alone FB ads where your brand/page is completely unknown to them.

Most of the money is made in follow-ups. Install pixels on your website to capture the data of those who visited your sales page or perform certain actions on your website.

After you got enough data, do retargeting/follow-up ad with better offers and make sure to give them incentive to buy now.

To answer your question, it still depends on the product niche.
