Which hosting provider to use for woocommerce?

Which hosting provider to use for Woocommerce? I am looking something affordable.

I found bluehost and wpx hosting, but they are expensive especially the latest.

I want to host 2 websites which one will be with 3200 woocommerce products with 6 variations and other website will be with 2000 products. In the first website i am using 13GB worth of storage.

I found to be good Hostgator and Siteground, can i go with hostgator because its little bit more cheaper than siteground? What is your opinion about Hostgator?

You can recommend others also, it will be helpful for me!

Hostgator is quite stable, I think you should use it, but sometimes it has small problems when there is a lot of traffic on it.

I’d recommend going with a VPS provider instead of shared hosting. Cloud hosting services like DigitalOcean, Vultr, Linode, or SSDNodes are great options. You can also find plenty of other deals on hosting-specific platforms like LET.

+1 for digital ocean. In my experience may be the best option

Please, no; after they were taken over from EIG, they became unreliable. I would have tons of issues, and nothing would be fixed. I would stay away from them. WPX and Hostarmada are good, as I have used them both without any issues.

How much traffic are we talking? What about 100 visitors per day?

For your WooCommerce stores, you’ll need good performance to keep things running smoothly. Make sure not to host your website on a shared hosting, you will not get any performance, unless you buy WordPress hosting optimized for WooCommerce.

Here’s what I’d recommend if you have knowledge to setup VPS for your website

• CPU: At least 4 cores (faster clock speeds help with large stores)
• RAM: 8GB minimum (16GB if you want better performance)
• Storage: NVMe SSD (50GB or more) for fast loading times
• Bandwidth: 1TB+ or unmetered
• Caching: Use Redis or Memcached for faster database speed
• PHP & Database: PHP 8.1+, MariaDB/MySQL with proper setup

If you're on a budget, a VPS with 4 vCPU, 8GB RAM, and NVMe SSD is a solid choice.
If your store gets a lot of traffic, a dedicated server with 8+ cores, 32GB RAM, and NVMe SSD will handle it better.

VPS is cheaper and scalable, while a dedicated server gives the best performance. Choose based on your needs!

I've tested many and have been let down by many. I look for managed, auto-scaling, & incredible support as I don't give a shit if I have to pay a little extra for them to manage it all for me. Allows me to hard focus on what is actually important, making the fucking sales and money.

Depending on your size & site (theme/size/images/etc), I've never seen anyone outperform Pressable. WPX was mediocre for the pricing, plus when I told them I was moving they charged my card 4 days earlier than the invoice should have done so lmao. Bluehost is absolute dogshit. SpeedyPage = 12 hours on average for fucking support to answer any questions, so if your shit goes down or has any issues good luck. Ultahost, 3 - 6 seconds of average wait times for my websites hosted on them (uncached); when asked to help they said "Your site is operational and live." and closed my ticket. I've tested 7 more and they've all been let downs for what I require.

Pressable = 3 - 5 minutes for support, with many times being around 30 seconds to a minute. Incredible fucking speed, like holy shit. 120k sales (10 - 12% conversion rate; 70 - 100k visits/m) with them in the last year using my woocommerce store, 0 issues. From mass stress tests & monitoring during mass visits/sale days, around 5 - 6 seconds for someone to speed run & reach the checkout from homepage from a fresh uncached load. Meaning clicking link -> reaching site -> clicking category -> certain product -> buy now -> checkout. Pressable isn't the cheapest, but holy shit their support is fucking fantastic, servers are incredible, and their CDN/Assistance with Speed Optimization/Caching hasn't been beat yet.

Servebolt is also great for large revenue sites, but more expensive.

Don't skimp out on hosting because it's a bit more expensive than others. If you have 5k products, you are probably in the area where you'll lose many potential sales because of even a single second extra load time.

look up hostspeedia and see if this aligns with what you need.

I recommend Cloudways with a DigitalOcean server—affordable, fast, and great for WooCommerce. Better performance than HostGator for large product sites.
