Not a great impact. This in fact is extremely common. Metadescription is technically only useful for CTR purposes although it may have a slight usefulness on exact match for ranking purposes.
If you are forced to have the same meta in too many pages that you can't handle, you may rethink why you are indexing that many pages (you can always use the first 10 words from the document to introduce a little bit of variability)
