I mainly use wordpress as well. To edit js, html, and css I usually use notepad++.

Komodo, Photshop CS5 64bit, sometimes artisteer to get the general layout. The rest i doo by hand. I hardcode databases and build my own networks so Im good with PHP SQL and photoshop and thats all i need to wory about I can build 1 site or a templating systme for 1000's from there i have made my own wordpress lol and it loads in a fraction of the time with 100% customization.

I've used wp in the past, but it suffers from the "too many knobs to fiddle and twiddle with" syndrome. One blog site I setup took me over 2 weeks to get just right.

So I'm currently building my own CMS, which includes everything I need to run my sites. When it's finished it will solve all the issues I have with wordpress, problems that I'll never have to worry about - ever again.

I use wordpress, there are unlimited themes and once you figure it out, you can set up a new site with CMS in just a couple of hours.

i only use wordpress. my templates are made with the software artisteer in 20 minutes. you can also make salespages with wp, a forum with bbpress plugin and a "facebook" with the famous plugin buddypress. wordpress rocks! :thumb:

For my blackhat endeavors I used wordpress and someone elses theme's. For my whitehat web design endeavors I like to use Dreamweaver. The css code hints are awesome and I like the "zen coding" addon which can speed things up.

Notepad ++, If I'm using a CMS it's really depend on the budget and what the client want. I'm big fan of Expression Engine and CMSBuilder. They both provide you with the a clean code and ease to develop.
