Dreamviewer is good enough to build websites.
But anyways, i mostly use CMS, instead of coding and designing the website.

Notepad++ and Photoshop 7.0 for development is more than enough for my needs. For testing: xampp, IE, FF, Opera.

For a few of my sites.

I buy domain names for the sites that i think are worth the buck.

I don't use the preset stuff, i just go right to the html and css.

I do all my site with Wordpress now-- easy and quick to update. The key is using a good theme so that it doesn't look too generic. You can hire someone on here to customize, or use WooThemes.

Its Always better to use a CMS since, its made for the sole purpose to be used as a Base to Run On!

Use a CMS, and then Start playing with it!

I agree, Wordpress is very easy to customize and its a good CMS if you have to daily update your site with content.
