Well, if there is one of course. First matter was if the "regular" Windows (I mean XP or 7) or server releases (2003/2008) are the better? Are server ones more lightweighted? Lets say it is a VPS, not much performance to sacrifice for OS, so the question is, which one of the 4 mentioned is the most ideal? Thanks alot :).

I see, my main concern is 2008 vs XP though. Server vs regular.

You can use any OS doesn't really matter. All my users and customers are using Windows 2008 and it works like a charm for all sorts of SEO software.

I know it won't make major difference, but I was also interested in minor ones. I also thought about 2008, seems more suitable. Thank you all.

I have tested XP and Vista Ultimate and I actually have no problems with the Vista version. On the XP I had a problem with freezing screens and had to keep my posting to less than 200k or I was doomed for failure.

I'd go with windows 7 if the vps is only used for scrapebox, otherwise i would choose server 2008

Yes you can. I have few clients who are using Windows 7 on their VPS and I can easily setup one for anyone who is interested.
