There is no specific source is like best source but good sources are like google adword, PPV traffic from 50onred, POF ads, Popads are the few i have tried my self. If you have experience you can go with direct media buying.
 
Well, there is a number of sources that can be helpful. But not all traffic is equal. Traffic that is highly targeted is going to generate a better ROI than traffic that is not. That should be always kept in mind.The options that always work are:
-online ads -instantly generate loads of clicks.
-social media (apart from Facebook,LinkedIn for B2B, Instagram for B2C)
-guest posting and commenting -suited for your niche.
Try one or all of them and see what works better for your website.
 
It depend on Niche you are promoting, How can a blind source be best?
 
There is no "best" traffic source that I can tell you. It all depends on your niche. What may work for me and others may not work for you. To discover the best traffic sources for your niche, simply target the places that your target market hangs out.
 
There can be a number of ways to generate huge amount of traffic. But, all depend on your end goal of traffic generation and your niche. If you want to generate bot traffic you can use various traffic generation websites and scripts.

But, if you are looking for genuine traffic then you can use various methods such as SEO for organic. And if you want instant traffic then you should go for Paid Advertising and also social media.
 
Ya agree, why don't you share with us what you are working on? Maybe we can give u better advice.

For the projects i'm working on, they are local businesses. Hence we receive the "best" traffic from local SEO/Google/Search Engine, Facebook, social media. They are very targeted and high chance to "convert". Forums and Quora are nice for us as well...

If you just want "traffic" to look nice and not "do anything" plenty of bots out there...
 
Not all traffic is the same. Targeted traffic is best, and Social media platforms like Facebook do allow you to be highly selective when it comes to your target market. The key is to work out your ideal target market first, their age, demographic, interests etc then you can choose the best platform to reach that target market. It may even be ads on forums like BHW, which gets lots of targeted traffic
 
The best source is the source that generates leads. Think about it, if your website ranks on the first page of Google for your "money keyword" and only generates 2% conversions and you have a full feature article on Forbes which generates a 20% conversion rate, which traffic source is better?
 
The best source for bringing traffic by gettting the result on the top 3 spot in Google SERP result for your all keywords.
You can bring visitors by getting the right result, by adding the quality interesting & engaging content on your site, you can bring more traffic regularly
 
There are many ways for generating traffic but target traffic must be clear.
 
Bro, depending on what you're offer is , Facebook and content marketing is a really good way of getting quality traffic.

Just get on a cam and make some great value videos in your niche and put them on youtube. Research some YT ranking and search strategies.

Email marking is my bread and butter and youtube marketing 2nd, facebook 3rd.
