What is the Best Keyword Tool?

Please share your experience with a keyword tool you've used. Below I've listed all the keyword tools I've used to rank for long tail keywords and had success with.

Keyword Research Tools I've Used

AnswerThePublic – I use this to discover what people are asking about and get instant, raw search insights, direct from the minds of customers. ( great for finding long tail keywords )

Jaaxy – I curreent use Jaaxy Lite and research platform that was developed by affiliate marketers for affiliate marketers.

LongTailPro – This has keyword competitiveness score to determine the difficulty of ranking different keywords in the top 10 Google results.

KeySearch – I've used this to find relevant, low competition keywords for your website, blog or business. ( I no longer use this tool )

I used keyword research tools by mangools in the past, it has easy to use interface, however cost was on the high side. Ahrefs does offer that as well, but i see that ahrefs dont show the correct keyword search numbers. If i have to choose one just for the purpose of keyword research i would prefer mangools over ahrefs and semrush.

These are the tools I use when conducting keyword research. Each of them, provide different value for me...

Google (Advanced search operators)
Ahrefs (PAID)
Moz Chrome Toolbar (FREE)
Keyword Researcher (You can get it FREE from the Members Download Section)
Excel (FREE)

And that´s pretty much it!

UberSuggest is free and not so bad. If you have the $100-200/mo to spend, SEMRush & Ahrefs are good options. You can get a free month with both and see which one you like the most, since each one has solid tools.

I have used below tools for keyword researching;

SEMrush, Ahrefs, and KWfinder. Always check with a couple of tools and consider the average, each tool has unique algorithms so the values might differ.

i prefer ahrefs.

if you're short on cash, you can do a $7 7-day trial, and spend week doing enough keyword/backlink/content research to keep you busy for a few months. just be sure to cancel it before time runs out.

you can also download kw lists, backlink lists, etc. into a csv for future reference.

when you need to use it again, create a new acct with a dif email and do another $7 7-day trial.

If you are on a budget you can still conduct effective keyword research that includes an in-depth competitive analysis. Sure, using Ahrefs will save you a lot of time but you can´t have it both ways.
