Hello BHW,
Today I will show you - "How to do Keyword Research utilizing Free tools?"
Keyword Research is actually a very neat Skill that every Internet marketer should have.
Let's dive right into it-
Go here - neilpatel[dot]com/ubersuggest
In the keyword section, enter your niche [broad]
for ex - weight loss, student loan, etc.
For this tutorial, we will go with "Weight Loss" and country "United States"
Then, Click "Keyword Ideas"
You will be able to see a lot of keyword ideas.
Our main focus now is "suggestions" and "related"
Download all the keywords from both groups.
Now open the CSV file and short the keyword difficulty in A-Z order.
After doing that, you will be able to see a lot of low competition keywords.
But it's not over yet.
Let us take a keyword from the list.
Best metrics to go for:-
Search: 1000 or more
KD: less than 20
We will take "weight loss lunch ideas" as an example.
Let us search this term in Google
This is a BAD keyword to go for-
# High authority websites are ranking [health.com]
# Sponsored listings.
# A lot of search result.
So just scroll down to look for Google suggestions.
Google is suggesting us 8 Keywords.
Let us open the first keyword.
Now, don't be fooled by the rankings, eatthis.com is ranking for #1 spot.
The title of the article ranking is completely different from what we are searching for.
This is a keyword you should go for.
If you want to see the competition, just put quotation at the start and end of the keyword.
Here is what it looks like -
ONLY 5 RESULTS
Search volume will be low but, that is where you have to stop being lazy.
# Just create content around keyword with 200 monthly searches and do this for 100 keywords.
# Or, Find 20 keywords with 1000 monthly searches and low competition.
Just repreat this process with other keywords.
Hope this helps.
Thanks.
