What is better? Blog or Static page?

Hi people, how are you today?

Wonder what is better for new Adsense SEO Sites. I always used WordPress for my business (normally Adult), but since im in Mainstream now, I want to create a few sites following some blueprints to test them and determinate if I will create more mainstream content or not.

I like wordpress but sometimes you can manage a static html site better than wordpress when you want to link back to main page, or add custom things, etc.

What do you use for your sites?

What are the pros and cons of each kind of site?

Want to hear your comments to test them. This is one thing that keep me wonder this week!

I also worked a lot with static HTML pages but since I discovered how easy wordpress can be and it can save you up to 90% time... Only it takes 150% more time to learn; well it's not hard just play with it...

If there is something not working don't blame wordpress but your theme you are using...

Wordpress is much more liked nowadays by SE

Yeah, I know, Google loves WP and its 100% easy to manage. I had good results in my adult sites using WP but who knows how it works with Mainstream.

Well since I was in Adult I needed to create blogs with 3 columns in order to put as many dating and cams promos as I can so I used lot of generic themes, from the WP Themes Directory. I did a basic SEO test, checking the h1 and h2 tags, etc and modified if needed.

About plugins I used Seo Ultimate, WP Super Cache, Google Analiticator, XML Sitemap Generator as main plugins.

No paid themes or plugins. I only brought the WP Fixed Footer Pro plugin because I needed it for a specific promotion, but it was the only plugin I brought in about 5 years of adult blogging.

I always used free things for blogging and it worked fine!
