What has Elon Musk really done?

Didn't his parent have a blood diamond mine somewhere in Africa?

If I understand correctly, the valuation of the stock is a consequence of many (millions?!) of investors opinion. They may be wrong though, like in the case of Nikola company (didn't produce a single working vehicle).

By the look of things, Tesla is only going to increase it's profits and manufacturing capabilities. Maybe the share price will correct in the future, maybe it will even go higher if/when solar roof starts to gain traction.
We'll see once we see 2020's report tomorrow! I doubt they have better margins, or cash flow tbh

He uses physics as a framework to pioneer in his ventures

Reusability of rockets was the fundamental breakthrough needed to make space travel cheaper. If it wasn't for Elon, I don't think NASA would ever think in that direction. They're really good at spending money.

And he didn't stop it right there. F9 was a partially reusable rocket.
They're continually progressing to ensure 100% reusability including heat shields.
Eventually, to a point where we could treat rockets just as airplanes.

Tesla is another stellar venture.
Neuralink might revolutionize our lives just like the Internet once did

Honestly, we're all tugged in a marketing funnel by govt, taxes, and the education system. They don't give a shit about the future just as this man does.
He's a mad maneuver & scientist dominating the business world.
He should be kept alive at all costs.

You seem to have missed my post where I explained that Musk did NOT invent reusable rockets. They were invented during the Cold War by space agencies (NASA) and military research ones (DARPA). The reason why NASA did not pursue it further back then is because there was literally not enough money for it. NASA is a government-funded agency, while SpaceX is a commercial one funded by VC-s. Governments had (and still have) a lot of other vital expenses to focus on than space travel and their budget is very limited. By comparison, the budget of VC-s is practically unlimited. Get your facts straight!

For me, he is a visionary. Although he supposedly has an engineer's degree. But on large projects you need the top engineers and Ph.D.'s in different fields. Same with Zuckerberg: he doesn't code anymore either.

A visionary sees the future and is not afraid of new experiments, even if they are life-threatening, nor is he afraid of laws or social opinion.

Yup! Same with the Tesla batteries, there's literally nothing new. The better capacity is just because the batteries are bigger in size, not because they have better battery volume...
Imagine driving your car knowing there are no gas stations anywhere and you can only fill your tank at home... that's what it's like buying any electric car other than tesla.

Tesla Surpercharger Stations set the infrastructure needed to make electric cars a thing

There was already an infrastructure at place in the United States, if someone wanted to go to campgrounds.

Exactly this. :)
You can satisfy some people some time, but you cant satisfy all the people all the time.

With Tesla he was forcing other car manufacturers into a paradigm shift, so they needed to start to take electric cars seriously and they needed to start to make their own models, unless they want to be left behind. Without Tesla this process would have been a lot slower, if happening at all. Thanks to this, battery technology is evolving in a faster pace. He is not just making electric cars, he formed a rather traditional, slow-moving industry to his own image. This alone is something to be remembered by.

He is bringing stuff to space, what NASA can't always do for some time now. Even if you're not interested in space travel, it can always bring practical things, which make everyday life better/easier on the planet.

There's SolarCity, Starlink, Open AI, Neuralink, The Boring Company. Some of this is just research (at least for now), some of this already have practical use.

And obviously the flamethrower. :)

His Falcon Heavy is the only rocket capable of lifting up to 64 tons of payload into low-earth orbit.

In fact, he did not create anything at all. He was just lucky to be born in the era of Internet technologies and then he successfully invested in some projects that brought him to a good financial level. Thus, he gradually had large financial savings and he was able to hire very smart heads to develop his companies, and at their expense, he began to get richer and richer.
