What Do You Use For Your Job Title?

Now that you mention it... I don't think I use a "job title" per se... just a quick "elevator" speech like you mentioned. "I help companies get more business by getting them found on the internet by potential customers".

If you really want to come up with a job title though you could try this "Bullsh*t Job Title Generator... it actually comes up with some pretty good ideas!!!

lol, people still think I'm some kinda hacker no matter what i say, but usually internet marketer,

Visualize a plain white business card, with nothing on it except your name, and underneath that, smaller font, "troubleshooter" (and bottom-right, email and/or cell #).

Really I doubt the title matters unless you plan on working for the mighty "G" or FB. You can tell your friends and fam whatever you like. What really counts is your bank account, if you can afford to pay your bills and take care of yourself you can be the President of Illwackinet< what is that you say? Who cares...only thing that matters is your bank account and your happiness.

If you want to be professional and hand out a business card, then you make up something. Cheers my friends.

I just told them I'm a member of an online mafia. That extorts money from Google, Amazon, Ebay and many others sites. And the organization have 160k members worldwide. :D

i always say web designer.. unfortunately then people ask me to build them a website

to most average joes: Marketing Consultant
I say I work from my "home office" (not just "home", makes a huge difference in perception).
