What I do not understand, he got done in October spam update, not December link spam update.

If links were the issue, bad ones they would be nuked so he would loose ranking as Google nulled them so he should just focus on getting good links. Making disavow file and wasting hours on it instead of making or fixing content in my mind is a terrible idea.

P.s one of my white hat sites recovered after 8 weeks of getting 90% hit in October, I removed auto translations and google got over it and re ranked it and full traffic returned. I know the pain..
