What can you do to win someone over?

There's this guy in my school who hates me for no reason. We have lots mutuall friends but I can tell whenever i'm about he'll be all offish. I had a party, well more of a small gathering of friends last week and I asked our friend to call him over. We were just playing ps4 to celebrate and talk about the ps5 launch and I think he was only there for that tbh but he tried talking to me with the fakest smile but everytime i turned my back i could see mean mugging me i caught him in a window reflection.

Now I don't know what to say. I said I hope you are free to come over for the weekend again and he said him and two of those other guys we are friends with are going swimming and I asked if I could come and didn't get a reply. Now one of those guys messaged me and said that they cancelled their plans with him and that he says stuff about me behind my back like i'm a smartass or think i'm better than everyone and they don't want him there.

Now I get a message where he's saying if i can come over.

Now what should I say? I don't want to be enemys with this guy. He seems ok

How can I be diplomatic here.

How old are you guys? Around 15 or something Id guess?

The adult advice would be to just talk about it with your friends and him (separately). But idk if that'll work for teenagers too. Apart from that, just stay neutral but avoid him, especially if your friends do so too. No need to deal with people like that

Hi, thanks for the advise.. I 'm gonna talk to my friends and see if they wanna give him a second chance. If they say no i'll just say look these guys don't want you over sorry man.. Maybe i'll just call and ask what the problem is maybe, i should try that first.
 
World is too big with more people than you can imagine. Just move on and leave the guy alone. Ignore it and if you still can't then ask him to name his price.

But he's asking me if he can come over to my house. Also he has an older sister who was super nice to me once at a birthday party not tool long ago but she has a super super gorgeous best friend, I don't want either of them thinking i'm a dick since this guy has a habit of erupting into tears about stuff without warning. He does it at school all the time.

I think he is just jealous but i'll see. This as you can see is a very sensitive situation. One wrong move and she might never come over to my house.

I remember guys like this when i was in high school. I ended up fighting quite a few times cuz they would insult me out of the blue for whatever reason. Just stay away and dont even talk to him.
