Please check any rules specific to the section where you are posting. For the Introductions section, those are here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/rules-posting-in-introductions.1661993/

How do user levels (Newbie) work?

I've been a member of the forum for a while now. I've mostly just been a reader until now. But I want to be a bit more professional. I've been browsing the forum for a few weeks, sharing content on topics I'm knowledgeable about, and sometimes leaving comments. But I keep getting warnings from the forum administration. But I'll learn. Everything seems to be of very high quality. ;)

Quality always beats quantity.

If you take your time and focus on adding genuinely helpful, on-topic replies, you'll avoid most issues.

And if you are ever unsure, it's perfectly fine to slow down and watch how more experienced members participate.

For those of you who are kind enough to help keep the community clean, you may not always get an alert or notification.

That can be for several reasons, two of which I'll share here:

1) If several people report the same thing, which we do appreciate, as it shows you care about the community, only the last person who reports gets a notification/alert.

2) If a report comes in and we spam ban the member, it erases all their content, public posts, as well as DMs, and it gets closed automatically without sending a notification.

100%, we appreciate the help of the community members who send in reports, and if you don't get a notification/alert, it's not because we don't appreciate it, it's the way the forum works.

That's built into Xenforo, the platform on which the forum operates.

I'm sorry I want to buy something but I can't post to Want to buy. What are the requirements to post there

New rule: You must have 15+ posts to start a thread in HAF/WTB.

We recently updated the Hire a Freelancer and Want to Buy sections of the forum to reduce spam and improve engagement.

Because of these changes, you now need to have made at least 15 forum posts before you can create a new thread in either section. Please check the Hire a Freelancer Rules/Please check the Want to Buy Rules.

The goal is to ensure these sections remain safe, clear, and helpful for members genuinely looking to hire (HAF) or seeking a specific product/service (WTB).

Once you reach 15 posts, you'll be eligible to post in these sections.

In the meantime, feel free to engage in the forum, participate in discussions, read the stickied rules, and get familiar with the community.

I posted my first introduction thread in the Introductions section, and it said it needed approval. After that, I haven’t received any updates or messages.

Your Intro thread was removed because it was detected as AI-generated.

Please feel free to post a new introduction in your own words.

Whilst BHW is not against our forum members using AI to assist with writing content, we've found it's often used for the wrong reasons or in ways that violate our Terms of Use, and its use often fails to deliver the value or genuine engagement we expect.

Please read the guidance here: https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/n...ai-detection-for-unwanted-ai-content.1801573/ and be more mindful of your content and engagement moving forward.

I’m currently reading through the service-related announcements one by one. They have been very helpful in understanding how to use the service. I’ll keep them in mind.

The forum was upgraded a couple of years ago and I'm pretty sure another upgrade is currently in the works. I personally really like the layout and design.

Try this for your eyes: https://www.blackhatworld.com/misc/style?style_id=8&_xfToken=69945%2C1534120143%2C04a381cf1729589ce12163ea89dc2107f4fb835c&redirect=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.blackhatworld.com%2F
Personally, I think it's fine. But white is more irritating to the eyes.

I have a question that might sound stupid but its better to ask it now: as a newbie a would like to ask question in one of social media forums about next steps I should take. My question is rather general in context what is being there discussed - it is about whether i should buy proxy, account, what software use etc. Will i get backlashed for "not doing your own reasearch"? I am reading BHW for past weeks, but I figured it is better to start own thread to get all thoughts organized.

Absolutely not, that is completely fine.

BHW is a community, and asking questions is part of how we all learn.

As long as your thread is posted in the correct subforum and your question is genuine, you should not worry about asking for advice or guidance.

It is always better to ask first if you are unsure.

Welcome to BlackHat World ;)

I have a very specific need where I just want to buy services around reviews. Is there any way of just directly messaging people that I can see are selling these services?
