Weird homepage index issue?

hey guys and girls i hope you are doing well and coping well with life.

I have a question regarding google indexing,

Any dea why after Inspecting my url according to google search console it is already on google.

But when i try the Site:www.yourwebsite.com. All of my pages are indexed except the homepage.

I never had this problem before, the site is over a year old,i resubmitted the sitemap to GWT, should i do anything else?

had check if the main page has noindex header
example:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex" />

Option
A.sometimes it works for me when I changed the server IP and after few days or week the site has been indexed.
 
Have you checked if there is noindex on your home page?
Also you can use "Request indexing" tool in url inspection section of your search cosole.
If in your search console Google says that home page is indexed then do not site. Site operators do not always show all the pages. I have seen it all too often.

Hey thanks i have already done that when i have submitted the sitemaps to google,any other idea or suggestion?

I donot know if it is possible and within rules, but if you can send me website url i can see what sort of issue is it. I can only tell after seeing the website,

Check in GSC. What does it show? Where it is showing as crawled and indexed?

You can do one more thing.

Take a paragraph from homepage and search in Google using quotes. See whether you get any result.
 
I have checked everything and it seems ok but the homepage is still ranking for my main keyword and i can find it in serps but when it type site:sitename.com i cant find it,and usually the homepage is on top when i search for it like that...
 
Do you have robots.txt file? If so, what's the content of it? This is a very weird issue and if I have to make a guess, it could be temporary. If there are no issues in GSC, it's still ranking, I wouldn't be too worried. If the rankings drop, however, now that's disturbing.

it looks normal so that shouldnt be a problem

It might be a dmca but i havent received any kind od dmca on the homepage,also if i receive any dmca i remove everything regarding it from the site
 
you get your website here ? http://cbsearch.site/ that's a source where you can basically check some penalties as this google based index is less strict or whatever when I see my page is ranking there and not in google I know I have a penalty issue. That worked pretty fine in analysis past year
 
Have you updated your homepage recently? I think it may be a bug with google site operator or indexing in general.

I have a website where a similar thing happens with a subpage I updated recently.

If I search using site:domain.com and show all results, the page is not listed. But if I do “page title” site:domain.com then the page comes up.

Try some different operators and see if you can find it in the results.

If not, maybe look at the content on your homepage; it could be that google have deliberately not included it in the serps if there isn’t enough unique content, for example.

Aside from that, maybe just give it some time.
