The site that I?m trying to make is very much like OpenTable.com. I want the exact layout with one difference that google maps will be part of the main page with markers showing the specific points on the map. Other than that, the way people can search, refine their search, navigate, see the result, etc is to be very very much like OpenTable.com.
The site, of course, won?t be for making reservations for restaurant. It will be for searching for some other service based on location and specialty. As such, while the layout is very much like OpenTable, it will have its own theme with of course logos, pictures and such (which needs to be created and purchased).
I will be writing the web services calls that you ajax methods will call to get data. So, for example, if part of the page needs to be updated for a say a list of locations, I will write the service for you and return the result based on your preference (xml, JSON, html, DST, etc.).
Again, go ahead and take a look at OpenTable.com (this URL for example:http://www.opentable.com/start.aspx?m=4). How much do you charge (project based) to put it all together - everything - excluding the purhase of the images? How long will it take you?
