Cpanel. You won't get a more secure and up to date hosting software to work with than that. You might pay a bit extra with cpanel posts, but its worth it, if you prefer clicky over keyboard input.
 
It depends what you're hosting, if it's wordpress or something which requires more than javascript, then a fully managed service would be better, however if it's a static site, then a super basic host or even a VPS with just nginx/apache and FTP would be fine.

On the other hand, if you're looking to host a nextjs site or one of the other js frameworks, using vecel or something more specific would be better.
