don't ever use godaddy, they start charing really expensive after domain renewal. also, coupons doesn't offer whois protection, and there are far better domain companies. just my 2 cents.

Only use them when you absolutely need too. Can't find a way around using them for auctions though. Any suggestions?

i really don't see a problem with calling, they have a Dutch local number i needed their support only once, got help right away and my issue with my domain was solved the same day. Been for years with Godaddy (since they took over registerfly) never had a problem.

Once Bob Parsons sold Godaddy, http://www.getnetworth.com/tag/bob-parsons-sells-godaddy/ the current powers that be have methodically and systematically converted Gdiddy into a stern money hungry monolith. They have halted ALL coupons and discounts. Renewals on dot coms are a harrowing $14.99 a pop! Pretty soon, you can expect Gdiddy to be priced up there with Yahoo domains and Register domains.
