I can't say I blame them for the policy...it might seem a bit 'much', but because it's a venue for those who tend to look at and buy tons of service...using members, particularly those that post alot gives the videos there a lot more merit than jut by a random "could be anyone".
I like your idea of starting this thread and doing it organically. I'll do it vice-versa than your offer only because I'd like to adhere to the Warrior rules for the aforementioned reason. If you send me a copy of the book [slap a watermark on if you want; I'll sign an NDA, whatever).....I'll read it and if it's good I'll record a testimonial for it. If I didn't really like it I won't lie about it but I also won't post negatively about it.
I'll let that offer stand for anyone who needs a video or audio for their book...I'll only do books I've actually read and if compensated I will have to say that as well. PM if interested.
