EZVID is free and easy for slide shows and you can delete their ad easily(unlike Animoto free version) .

I use cyberlink powerdirector. I find it pretty easy to use and it has the ability to upload your finished videos to youtube and a couple other video sites

I just use camtasia studio. It's easy to use and it gets the job done.

I would recommend you ProShow Producer by all means. That's the best program for making fast (and great) slideshow videos.
