Update on the 3 week old Porn Studio I started from PornHub

Hello BHW!

It has been 3 long weeks of uploading, keyword/title optimizing, and social media marketing.

If you don't know, I started an amateur porn channel on PornHub with original content I filmed. The goal was to generate 10-20k views in about 1 week (which is light for porn viewership) and start making money with VOD / ad share.

The result:

Reached a little over 30k combined video views. Sounds great right? Nah, in porn world that is about average or maybe a little below for 3 weeks of the page's maturity.

Here is the earnings total from PornHub, xVideos, and LosPollos:

$14 lol

I can buy a large one topping pizza with this money that won't even pay out until I make the minimum threshold of $100. Pretty bad, right?

Here is another plus, I did a lot of social media outreach and was able to connect with other adult models on Twitter. However, the followers do not come and maybe I earned 3-4 real higher value followers throughout.

Boy, this niche is like a forbidden fruit. Once you bite on the apple you don't know what really is inside!

30k views but measly $14 earned.

My thought to solve this would be more content and sell video on demand? Maybe even a website with lots of duplicate videos in tandem with my own content?

Use OnlyFans and grow your social media following. That's the only way forward imo.

You can get a lot of views on the porn sites but you need make it everything perfect

Have you considered about getting into cams? I am sure you can hopefully make some more money to the side with cams to buy at least 2 large pizzas instead.

Eh, I am more of a producer. Plus that would be an instant target for the gay demographic which I want 0 viewership from. Camming is mainly for women and/or gay men.

I am neither. Although I hear couples do great on them. I don't have such luxury.
I mainly make one on one's and I just began that journey recently.

i think you should prefer to SEO of your website. More you advertise more you can buy large pizzas

OnlyFans and grow your social media presence (twitter, reddit, instagram if you manage to keep it live).

On social media, be unique. Show some of your content on gyfcat or images. If there is talk during your naughty video, use that as quote and use it as title.
Titles and content doesn't have to be particular hardcore, as long as you can show the unique part.

Having been a porn actor/producer, one of the most important things is to make sure you're putting out great content that targets one niche and one niche only. Think specific, like ballbusting, or pegging, something super-niche that has a small but enthusiastic following that's just hungry for more content that you can't find just anywhere out in the wild.

I can start using gif hostings and posting on twitter but I have few actual real twitter followers (few stars and two male fans) so that won't hit. However on Reddit, I get banned like the plague.

Your twitter base will grow.
If you are banned on reddit, you are spamming.
Make your own subreddit and post only on related subreddits. Don't push your links with every post.
Those that are interested will ask for link.

Plus, letting them to ask for source will also help you gauge what kind of content gets them hot.
