Hard to say but 0.5 should be fine for KGR if you've got an established site. KGR hard to find in some niches. You can always check what sort of KGR your ranking with currently. Work out the KGR of some of your top performing pages, ideally those without external links. A looser way of doing KGR is to just focus on allintitle results and not calculate a score, you could target anything under 40 allintitle results as an example, again, check to see the average allintitle results for some of your top performing pages. If you're ranking well and you're average allintitle is 100 then look for anything below 100. It's all relative. Established sites can go after harder terms new sites need to go after easy keywords to get early traction and traffic.

Really love the amount of links incorporated, was literally going from article to article!

I had previously been using Google keyword planner to get low competition keywords (10-100 searches), then checking if any other site utilized the specific keywords in their titles - if most results reflected such, I'd search for other keywords.

Will instead utilize the Allintitle Results/KGR method!

Though have a quick question - my site is 3 months old (just about no backlinks, still researching!), previously created post with keyword that coincidentally falls into KGR desired value.

However when I search google utilizing the allintitle: keyword - it doesn't show up.

I checked if the page was indexed via site:mysite.com - and it shows up there, but not in the allintitle: keyword search.

Any reason why this is the case?

Use a rank tracker that's more accurate. Just because a page is indexed doesn't mean it will rank. Not every KGR term will be a success. You need to try in volume to see whether or not it's working. Plus not every KGR term is a good keyword.

By "try in volume" are you referring to trying in different page- the same KGR term?

So even though the search returns 5 results (when altintitle: KGR term is used) and a search volume of 50 (0.1 KGR) - my page isn't displayed because it's not ranked?
 
it seems that ahrefs is the favorite tool here. Maybe I'll change my semrush subscription soon since most of tutorials are made with it.
 
When searchvolume.io is giving me a different number of average monthly searches than Google Keyword Planner, which one should I use, when calculating KGR? I had both set to United States and even had set English only in Keyword Planner but it still showed me way more volume than searchvolume.io, several times more. Btw, I found it in the 2nd article OP linked as a suggested bulk volume research tool when calculating KGR.
