Hard to say but 0.5 should be fine for KGR if you've got an established site. KGR hard to find in some niches. You can always check what sort of KGR your ranking with currently. Work out the KGR of some of your top performing pages, ideally those without external links. A looser way of doing KGR is to just focus on allintitle results and not calculate a score, you could target anything under 40 allintitle results as an example, again, check to see the average allintitle results for some of your top performing pages. If you're ranking well and you're average allintitle is 100 then look for anything below 100. It's all relative. Established sites can go after harder terms new sites need to go after easy keywords to get early traction and traffic.
