I was just wondering if anyone who has worked with both Twitter and Facebook know which gets better engagement as far as posting or tweeting links to their site and getting clicks?

I get better engagement with Facebook, as my target market/clients are more active in Facebook. So, I think it's safe to say that it depends on the niche you're pursuing and on your target market.

Yeah, FB is the best marketing social, but with their new policy you kinda need to have an already estabilished network...

If you post a link to FB and post a link to Twitter, the link on FB will get higher engagement. But there's a big difference in that you can post to Twitter many times a day -- 100 times a day if you want. It's not acceptable to post on FB as often.

In general facebook.

Twitter has its ups and downs, but most importantly its 10x easily to not get banned.

Engagement on Facebook is way better, but Twitter is much more flexible. If you don't already have an established page etc on Facebook then forget about it. Twitter is the real deal. Heaven for marketers. Facebook is very strict and that's why i absolutely abominate its existence.
