[Tutorial] How to Find Profitable Niches & Keywords!

Excellent guide thanks so much! I have one question however... When you said the following:

To do a simple check of keyword and niche competition just go over to Google and use a custom search modifier ("Keyword") and place your keyword within the brackets then search.

Can you please provide a real world example of just how one would do this using google? I'm not entirely clear thanks!

#profitdesire It's simple to analyse kwd competition if you run that Google search with modifier "KEYWORD" along with addon like SEO Quake or MOZ toolbar to check competitor links, PR, DA etc. then only you can decide and assume some thoughts about that kwd!
 
Man this is great. I've struggled with niche/keyword research from the get-go and I'm afraid I may have jumped in a little over my head with my niche site.

I'm not sure if I should go all in and try to rank this site even though the competition is rather high, or drop it before I get too much money into it (I've only spent $50 so far) and find something else.

Any advice for a newbie?
 
Aeoryth, high goals are great, but especially when you just started, I'd go for something easy. Many people are too greedy, that's why they fail and don't make any money at all or just enough a meal a day. Rank an easy term to #1, then slowly move on to more competitive ones. SEO is certainly about knowledge and experience to some extend, but at the end of the day, it's about money. There are no real secrets like 15 years ago, no hidden shortcuts. If you spend $100 a month and your competitors spend $5000 a month, you'll never outrank them, no matter how skilled or smart you are. There is no second winner, the goal is at least page 1. Page 2 means collecting the breadcrumbs, the few people who ever navigate further than page 1. Page 3 is pretty much like page 30 or 300, doesn't really matter any more.

I read that article just the other day! I think mine overlaps a bit with some of those really big networks too... It's probably best if I stick with something else.

I'll look for a profitable niche that's less competitive. For right now, I have a budget of about $400, then maybe $50 or so a month. I'm sure I can manage something out of that if I pick a lower competition niche

I am starting on DropShipping, i brainstormed all the informations i found online from Niches Research to FacebookAds, and now i am building my solid worflow, @rabbitking this Guide is just pure and very helpful nothing to add beside practice!
