[Tutorial] How I earn $200-$1000/mo and 100% WhiteHat

I don't want to take over your thread, Healzer, but I thought I'd just add my two cents since I'm currently in the process of doing something similar.

About the advertising medium: You can use any type of medium as long as your audience is responsive. I personally use Facebook groups. I offer advice, I ask questions and I like comments of other users. For this method you really should engage with people on a personal level. You'd be surprised by how much you can connect with people. When they start seeing you have things in common or you genuinely want to help them, they'll warm up to you considerably. This is a great way to build authority without relying on Google.

I have seen weight loss products advertised on Instagram. In fact, I get slammed with posts all the time from my personal account. I know for a fact it works, but your audience has to be actively looking for the information you're providing.

About outsourcing: I am using outsourcing, but for some design and marketing elements. I wrote the eBook myself. If you choose to outsource, please don't be cheap. The reason Healzer hasn't gotten a refund yet probably has something to do with how authoritative the information is, and the fact that it's well written and comes from an expert in the field. You need a professional to do your work for you. Prepare to spend hundreds of dollars doing this. So far I've spent $350 just on design and sales copywriting alone. If you go for someone who charges $3 per 500 words you're probably going to fail. Make sure everything is in tip top shape, and you'll reduce your chances of getting a refund.

About how much time it takes: I've been at this a little over four weeks. I've been very helpful with the FB groups I've joined. I've got people with large lists eager to see my product so they can decide if they want to promote it or not. I will have everything ready to go within 2 weeks time. So altogether that's 6 weeks of work and about $450 spent. I expect to make that money back within the first couple of months in sales.

Why is it taking so long? For one thing, this is a learning process for me. I am learning as I go along. I have people constantly asking me questions and giving me advice, and I have to shift through that and learn what to implement and what to discard.

Another thing is I'm a perfectionist. I am not going to release garbage just to pull in a few hundred dollars and then run off. This is a long-term investment for me. I plan to make money using this method for years to come. Since a lot of my work is being outsourced to professionals, I absolutely have to give them time to get my work done the way it should be done. If they tell me it'll take two weeks I give them two weeks. I also have to allow room for error: if they make a mistake I have to allow them time to fix it.

All in all, this is a sustainable method that works. Healzer profits nearly doubled in two months time. And it will probably continue to rise.

Like I said before, people have a need to absorb information. Also keep in mind that most people buy several books on the same subject because they know each book contains different information, and they want to read as much as they can on a subject. Therefore, don't hesitate to write a book on a subject you think is "saturated." There's a reason there are thousands of books on dieting: people are buying them. You just need to draw attention to your product. Since the big players don't really use this method to promote their books (they'd rather be flashy than personable), you can use it to your advantage.

Hope this helps. :)

Yes, just as explained in this article, the forums are found on Google.
BlackHatWorld is free isn't it? So why would we pay for other forums.

"How can you sell products that are not yours"? The same way as you're selling products that are yours: traffic -> website -> sell.
You don't need a product just as explained in my original post.

Hope this helps? :)

Thanks for your valuable input 'bud!
I completely agree with you.
Being a perfectionist is good, but it's not a good way to start out. When starting out you should use the "rocket launch" strategy: get everything setup and running ASAP. And afterwards start working on traffic + improving your site.

Good luck on your own journey, keep us updated!

Cheers :)

That's not exactly true.
WhiteHat methods are everywhere, the problem is that people are too lazy nowadays to make them work. It involves some creativity and hard work, but in the end something good can grow out of it.

Simple but nice strategy. As long as you have enough knowledge on a subject to write the e-book and get involved in the community pertaining to that niche.

Got any ideas/plans to scale it up?

Scaling up is pretty simple (not easy). If you start this method, it's only natural to build an entire business around it, and dominate a slice of the market.
All major companies started out small by selling one product :p

iv been doing this method for the last 2 months and making $200/month so just working on scaling it up :)

Congratz man! It's always good to hear someone else succeeding here :)
Are you developing your own products, outsourcing or affiliates?

Thanks for sharing your success healzer. You can scale this method by installing affiliate commission split up plugin on your website .. and then striking deals with owners of niche forums, niche facebook groups etc - just a jv on a small scale can bring more cash.

I agree, but it's a LOT harder to accomplish.
I've tried similar deals with people before, my success rate was 0%.
The problem is that two people that don't know each other, don't really care about one another.
That's why I've invented WhitePalmBeach to get in touch with other people that are serious and that do care about business.

A JV is always great to split up the work, but in most cases JV's don't work out well. That's why we hire VA's :p
Unless you have a business partner you know & trust.

Nice tip.

I totally agree with you. I have the same idea ( but of course didn't start it yet ) with a buddy i know.

He is a fitness instructor and we were thinking about creating a online training system with all kinds of exercises, tips and tricks.

Including video's of him as a online personal coach.

Think your post made me want to start this right away :).

So, if you see something like that soon in Belgium it is your neighbor country dominating the online fitness market :)! ( sarcasm ofcourse ).

Thanks for your post!

Cheers.

Hi man,

Sounds like a great plan!
If you ever have questions or problems feel free hit me up :)

Cheers!

Congrats and thanks for the share. Ebooks are something I always said I'll get into, but never really took the shot. I will try to outsource everything, I'm a terrible writer myself... and JVing is just not my type.

Haha the "I do everything myself" disease, so hard to cure it :D

Update

We'll be launching a second fitness-coach ebook later this week.
This one we'll be promoting using the same method on the same forums we've been promoting the first product on.
But also try a out a new forum. My VA is currently making posts on that forum's account, and once we hit 100 posts (by the end of this week) we'll put a link in the signature space.

I'll keep everyone updated on our progress.

Update

We've reached more than 100 posts on the new forum account yesterday. Then I added a new signature link (+ image) to the new product.
Right now we already have got 30 unique page views, no sales yet. However the duration on site is 1-2 minutes (avg.) so this is a good sign.

I will have to optimize the sales page a little bit, to get the visitors in "active buying" mode.
Will update in a couple of days :)
