tumblr links for SEO

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to rank a site (is not tumblr blog) but I have a few tumblr blogs and I was wondering if is worth the effort of adding links to that site to increase the page rank. I'll really appreciate your help and input.

Yes, you can use Tumblr blogs for generating backlinks toward your site.

Aged Tumblr blogs (at least one year) with higher PR are better than new Tumblr blogs. You can search Tumblr blog posting service on this forum.

For now, Tumblr backlinks are do follow, but that will change as more IM people start to spam the site with backlinks.

Whenever you create a blog for backlinks, be sure to include the best quality written content you can as this will lessen the chance your Tumblr blog is flagged/reported as spam.

Don't forget to take advantage of the built in community on Tumblr as they will happily share your content again, which will result in more traffic for your blogs and main site.
