Tumblr Auto-queue

Hey,

Does anyone know of a free tumblr script that will take files from a local directory and add the entire directory to a tumblr queue? (e.g to take all image files from /home/pics/tumblr/blog1 and auto queue on blog1 of tumblr)(blog1 would be the name of the blog, I have more than one on an account)

If there is no script that anyone knows of then I will look into writing one, but I cant say how long it would take for it to be finished, (noob in python). But if anyone knows of a facebook / twitter or a script that does this for another site in python, that I can use as a base for the script, it will hopefully be finished sooner.

Thanks for the responses, am I right in assuming that there are windows specific programs?
I'm running on my trusty Dell D610 which runs crunchbang Linux until i have somewhere to set up my windows desktop. I will probably still write my own at some point, more for the exercise of doing it, but it is nice to know that there are tools available for purchase, that way i don't need to wait until I have learnt enough to write my script before i can get started.

Pretty much does everything you can do in tumblr (apart from post audio / video content types, only because when I ask users already if they want it, they say no.

Should be having some cool new features ready for the testing crew early next week. Posting content to tumblr then also to blogger / wordpress. To help you set up those traffic funnels.

Free site that auto queues images from a compressed .zip file, just don't upload too many at once or your blog could get banned.

check the last page, OP says he it has been moved into a new project called tumbstudio, sorry cant post the link, still under restriction.

Still trying to find something similar that works in linux that i can play with to try and get the add to queue working. At the minute, the easiest way i can see to do this is going to be by getting python to send the images as emails to the tumbler posting email address. I'll queue the emails on the server sending them to prevent tumblr blocking the account. Now I just need to actually do the home work on sending emails and attachments via python and put it into practice.
 
hey i need a very basic one for causal use. one blog only. does anyone know of one?

I know. And again, have you tried that bot?

If you want a free solution and got some a few extra minutes here is a way to feed your tumblr.

Go to https://ifttt.com/ and make an account.
Grab a few rss feeds that are being updated. They can be any site you want (with pics, videos, or text).
Send the content to your tumblr blog.
It's simple and straight forward to set this.

This way you will have content updated, for as long as those rss feeds have new content posted on them.
