Traffic towards website

Hello,

I have a website where I write blogs and reviews about watches. In the near future, I would like to start affiliate marketing and dropshipping watches on my website.

The problem I have now, is the limited traffic towards my website. I find it hard to expand this, and would like to know the best ways to increase traffic.

I know that SEO and keywords are very important, so let's start with that. How can I get this optimized?

Furthermore, what are other (best) ways to increase my traffic?

Social Media.

Watches can be promoted on Instagram easily. They're great content for IG. Posting pics of your watches and saying something like "Check out link in bio for price or more info..." in description, while following your target audience can bring you targeted traffic.

Pinterest too. Especially for female watches.

Social media is good way to go since you can get instant results... SEO can take months.

Optimize your website to be mobile friendly. Mobile optimized website can give increased traffic rather than desktop optimized site.

You can also start a Facebook page as well. And also try joining those Facebook pages that would require the admin to approve your request to join their channel - I find those channels to be a good place to start promoting your site as well, as they are extremely relevant to your site's content. And if you are dropshipping, perhaps you can get a Google Business page started as well - it allows you to list your business, phone, address on Google + Google Maps, which would be great for your dropshipping business.
