Traffic from Pinterest to blog

Hey people, Can anyone let me know some good ideas to gain traffic from pinterest to blog/website? I want to rank my board as well in some paticular keyword. How do i do that? I have tried few off page methods but want to rank it to gain traffic. Anyone please share your knowledge on this.

This is pretty simple..
If you're an active blogger and are using Pinterest to promote it,you surely are gonna be posting alot of pictures on the blog.Do the same.Actually,my thread is similiar to this and it'll help you out with connecting your Blog with Pinterest..

Anyway,if you've read that,you'd prolly downloaded the Pinterest Pin-it browser addon.So just use the addon to pin your images from Blog and onto Pinterest.Be sure to have good pictures,people on Pinterest love quality for obvious reasons.You do it right and within no time you'll have loads of Active Traffic on your blog.
Also,you can PM me and I'll invite you to a Board on Pinterest having almost 7k members.That'll boost your traffic majorly!

Get a lot of images, and there are few niches that work very well on pinterest, you might first want to try those
They include, DIY, quotes, Food, home decor, travel
Then start posting regularly, even if you have low followers if you regularly pin like 10 images daily for a month you will start seeing some good traffic

About ranking pinterest boards i think it is quite difficult task, i have done a lot of work on it but did not got much success

xpesos I'll be running some experiments with bot software that I'm writing from scratch myself (I'm a comp. sci major and want to use those skills in IM). Maybe we can compare notes on board ranking strategies? PM me? I'm yet to get to the 15 post threshold for PM'ing on here.
