TikTok vs. IG Reels: Which is converting better for you?

I’d keep both but push budget where roi’s real, maybe use tiktok to warm people up then move them to IG for conversion.

I’m getting 5x the views on TikTok but the IG traffic seems to actually buy.
Is anyone seeing the opposite?
Trying to decide where to dump my budget for Q1.
TikTok = better for building social presence and getting fast gains that you could use for growing your yt or IG account.

IG = better for warming the leads, displaying your authority and converting sales.

Somehow IG account feels more like an online 'storefront' while on tiktok unless you are on tiktok shop - people don't trust you that well.

Reels work better for older audiences, while TikTok works better for younger audiences. But overall, conversion rates are better on Reels than on TikTok.

Tik tok is good when you want your content to go viral. Instagram is where people buy the most, because they are accustomed to buying from there.

It really comes down to your niche. TikTok tends to perform best for impulse purchases and younger audiences, while Instagram Reels is often stronger for established brands targeting slightly older, warmer audiences.
