those ex smokers how you quit smoking?

I use the Vaporesso Tarot Mini. I was using 18mg flavoured vape oil when I started which is actually harsher than a cigarette. I dropped down to 12mg after 2 weeks and eventually 6mg. Now I hardly vape at all, I substitute it with working out at the gym.
talking about gym , Whenever I need to workout I have to drink coffee + smoke to kick myself out
I actually know some supplement work like this , I use to drink before
yea caffeine is inside the supplement it works just like coffee .

hmm than after gym , throughout the day how you curb the addiction than

Easy.

I use vape. After that I lose appetite to smoke. It feels disgusting.

I use vaping for about 2 years, then I slwly reduce my intake, like 1-2 every 1 hour, I get bored with vaping after that.
And i just quit vape.

I stop vape for about few weeks, meet my friend, he still smoke, i tried to smoke again, i got migraine few hours later.

And that's the last time i ever smoke/vape till now. Almost 1 years of qutting both.

Now i got zero craving even my friend smoke or vape in front of me.

I smoke cigs daily for 10 years and vaping for about 2 years.

I dont think its hard.

You not gonna get withdrawal like PAWS, depression, muscle ache, anxiety, RLS, vomiting like other heavy drug does.

Plus, nicotine dint give me euphoria at all. Just few second of rush/buzz. Does not even worth it. Now i just chew bubble gum or biting tooth pick when i'm bored.

Vaporizer + 18mg Nicotine vape juice. Can't really say it's quitting, but I personally believe that Vapes are a lot better than cigarettes. With that said, none of them are healthy for you.

Interesting! I also smoked for 10 years before going to vape, however I can't stop vaping. I use 18-24mg nicotine juice and smoke frequently. But I think it would be easier to go cold turkey on vape, than cigarettes. Seems like you can confirm that.

And I agree, cigarettes are gross now, I really prefer vaping for "ingesting" nicotine.

this is kinda sucks , if my country never ban , i will go Vape again at least kinda can give a sense like the thing is easy access let u smoke no need to hide somewhere to smoke till you irony get bored
is kinda like psychology feel if you ask me . When a thing let you easily get access you will not bother again , if you know what I mean.

I was very big smoker.
I am pretty sure an easy way to quit smoking is travel.
I tavel like 3 month in asia and i smoked my last cigarette before the plane and until now no more.

In fact recently my mum is sad caught me smoking again ..... I have to admit I feel sad too but kinda cigrattee become part of my life .....Anyway I only child ...I know one day I will alone

thus cigarettee kinda is my soul accompany me when I alone.

My grandad is still alive at 91 as smoked like a camel for his whole life.

I'm not saying do it, though. I still think it's extremely expensive + waste of time.

However it is a nice social thing to do. It brings people together if you think of it.

But yeah don't do it.

Vape maybe?

man can stop mention Vape .......my country ban it bro. If can Now I vaping while typing .

Yea I saw some old folks already 80+ or so , still smoke , still look " ok " in the sense they can walk but slow of course without any aid .

in fact my dad got tell me buy cigarettes bring in the nursing home let him smoke. I say can't/ . I actually want o. that time I already know he will never able to come back home again . I actually want to buy let him smoke aka his wish .
but can't of course inside nursing home. I even think of bring him out , nearby the nursing home let him have some puff , well no need to talk about it since he gone.

My dad actually can " still alive " he is stubborn on medication. If he regularly take despite he still smoke is hard to say
maybe he still can alive for some years at least.

Some folks even claim those elderly who smoke , you cannot just cold turkey for them or else they will get even worst. etc.

I don't know . Perhaps just a myth , but base on doc side , He told me my dad lungs already can't be help , got water inflection etc

still kinda miss my dad ., now only me and my mum.

get the nicorette mist spray if they're available in your country, anytime you get the urge just have a couple of sprays under the tongue, works magic for me.
I'd tried cold turkey, nicotine patches, nicotine gum, hypnotherapy, nothing worked.
I did vape for a bit and did enjoy it but I do find it to be a bit too addictive in itself, the nicotine spray though, it's instant relief. well worth spending your money on.

I smoked for 15 years and when I decided to quite I was smoking 3-4 packs a day. Yes, I said 3-4 packs a DAY. I took Chantix for 2 weeks to help me get off of them. But the Chantix did nothing to help me overcome the mental addiction. For over a week I came up with 100's of ideas for how I could "just smoke one". But I didn't, I toughed it out. It was by far the hardest thing I have ever done. Moving forward I knew I could never smoke another cigarette, not one. That was 12 years ago.

If I did it anyone can. You just need to get past the withdrawal which is HELL.

Kinda can't quit for me .

I do exercise,
I drink coffee try to " trick " my brain give that so call " nicotine kick "

I also don't try to think having a smoke

also can't help much.

don't mention cold turkey I try before.

or so call cut down less sticks

I also try before also my mind is busy come thinking get to get more traffic etc on iM etc

but still sometimes kinda need a smoke break to refresh

I was hard smoker for 15+ years and manage to quit cold turkey without any problems at all. Like next day I was sitting and wonder why I don't need a cigarette. Not only I quit smoking, but coffe as well, same day (I associate coffee with cigarettes so was pointless to continue drinking coffee)

How it happened:
A friend of mine told me that I am like low life junky, that I prefer to spend money on tobacco instead of food (money was really short back then) etc - it get me so pissed (mostly because was true) that I said to myself (and her) "Who is junky? Me? Tomorrow ill be no longer smoking". For my uber surprise next day I had no desire at all to smoke. Now how the fuck this happened? I tried quiting a million times and never worked, now I was scratching my head why I don't need to smoke.

What I found out (by this personal experience) that decisions you make when you are in high emotional distress tend to get "imprinted" in your brain and sticks. So I test it with other stuff and it worked for me, every time. What I did it start imagining situations that I know will pump my adrenaline sky high and get me pissed as hell and then says to myself "I no longer do this", "I no longer care about her" (no shit I heal a broken hearth this way), right before going to bed. Sleep over it and next day you are new person. Oh and brush your teeth immediately after you eat. Toothpaste remove the need to smoke after eating.

Now thats my story, and thats what worked for me. Go, try it, you have nothing to lose.

To quit smoking, you need to have a pneumothorax (google it) - it will take a few days with a tube into you and two months recovery. If you smoke in this time, your pain will be excruciating.

I was talking about you to quit smoking. You need something like pneumothorax - isn't nothing related with water ... - and you will quit smoking for good.

I used to smoke a pack in 2 days 3 years ago. Whenever I smoked a cigarette, I always told myself that there will be a time which I need to stop. I love traveling and it helped me to break routines. I generally smoke less during tours. Once I come back, I cut down at least one or 2 cigarettes. I don't only try. I just do it. No matter what.

ex - I smoked, 4 cigarettes per day, and I only smoke 3 after the tour. Don't go over 3 no matter what. If I feel really hard, I have a very hard espresso. (Coffee did help me through the process.)

Also I snuffed tobacco. (Which is not recommended because it could be harmful to your mouth and teeth. But I did that because I have kept myself a word. didn't want to smoke instead)

Exercises also helped. A little bit of it does not make any sense. I do run for at least 20 minutes. (till i run out of my breath, and then a little bit more. (just pushing myself))

There are nicotine tablet and other products you can buy also. I have never tried them though. but still you can try.

What I'm saying is that, you have to be tough on yourself and if you love yourself enough, you should cut it down. We all have been there. We all have see ourselves getting tired after a small walk or with a little exercise.

little confession, I haven't smoked a cigarette for this year. But I might smoke one during my next tour after a shot of whiskey or two. (a little treat for not smoking =D)

"The easy way to stop smoking" - Allen Carr.
Does wonders, many people I know who were smoking for years quitted after reading it.
