Doctors and nurses throughout catastrophes in the past like wars risked being blown up and shot to save the lives of injured patients.
Not saying I'm in a position to judge a nurse who doesn't want to catch corona, but times have definitely changed - there are doctors and nurses in Italy that know they're catching corona for sure by being at hospitals treating corona patients without enough equipment, and many of them are pushing through and still treating people when they know they have it even though they've got a good chance of being in one of those beds soon too.
At a time when the US is being absolutely smashed with new cases, if every doctor and nurse went home because of the risk of infection millions of people would die within a few months. Thank god for the brave medical practitioners that are risking themselves.

Surprised you stopped and took the time to write that out.. must be a slow day for you.
Look tbh I don't care if it was judgy, I was just saying that to address that I'm not a nurse who could potentially catch corona without ppe. Saying that, every other judgy thing I said is 100% accurate, and really I don't feel sorry for her because she's sad about having to do her job.
Sorry if that's not the PC thing to say, but fuck me there's a lot of people that are risking their lives right now and who are putting themselves in serious danger to help hundreds of other people selflessly, because if they don't do it who will.

It's crazy on how fast the virus spread in the USA. I mean, I checked a few weeks ago it was 500+ cases in the USA and now there are 215,344 cases and surpassed Italy. This virus is some serious shit.

Well I guess now me and her have that in common: neither of us are saving people's lives.
And you can say whatever you want about me, but never... NEVER bad mouth beer ever again.. it's given hope and happiness to millions and is the nectar of the people.
