Great thread all - jumping in with a few clarifying points.
As
@Zwielicht mentions, we did have an AMA thread a while back but there was a lack of "Me" in the AMA willing to be asked anything directly by BHW, however, there were plenty of
AMA's running by themselves at the time and continue to be as mentioned above. - happy to resurrect if there is enough demand for it. What questions would you like to see asked in an AMA? How often? To Who? Happy to get the ball rolling, and we can pick up on
@t0mmy s AMA a few years on? But as
@BassTrackerBoats mentions, it's got to stay authentic to BHW and will be open to discussion for a period after it's posted. BUT trolling won't be accepted on BHW.
I maybe misguided, but I've been a for over 2 years, reader for many more years before that.... and I haven't seen much action here regarding ADULT sites. Maybe because we tend to avoid them in our backlink profiles...
The thing is, I "inherited" an awesome adult domain that had residual traffic, so I've been building on that.... I don't really want to start something new at GFY if there are healthy discussions about ADULT niche here at home... it's a big enough market that deserves its own subforum right? or am i missing something here...
@illuminateme - this has been covered in the past we break down by discipline (Black Hat, White Hat, Programming, video, social, Crypto Currency) rather than niche or brand (Adult, pharma, BitCoin) - when it was last reviewed the content that would have been moved into any Adult section was equally as relevant in the video section, for example. The full list of forums is available here
https://www.blackhatworld.com/forums/ always happy to add. Based on the criteria
@Zwielicht mentions above. However - sometimes we consider different criteria if it's a more trending, rather than evergreen topic.
Understand
@ju111 your desire for more engagement within the forum and we wholeheartedly encourage feedback into the community, a number of the items you've mentioned have already been looked at - from this thread alone we're building a public repository of ideas form the
forum Suggestions and following up where they were implemented, where they are under review and where they were let go and why.
As
@SimpleSiteSolutions mentions here we are building physical meetups after our
trial in London last month. Lessons were learned and now we're in a post 2018 world cup world

we're going to be driving this forward, ultimately to a larger BHW event for the entire forum to meet in real life (well maybe not everyone - we'd need a mid-size country to vacate).
Totally agree. BHW is a great platform, lots of members with ton of activity - but there's very little breathing room for people that "has made it".
For some reason, the mindset around here is if you make over $20 a day, you don't hang around on BHW. This needs to be changed and will allow people to see that success within IM is indeed very possible.
Understand your frustration but there are a TONNE of people on this forum that make significantly more than $20 per day. Trolling is a problem in any community, but we are constantly evolving mod tools to combat it, however, the best tool is the report button hit this and it will be dealt with. We've increased levels of moderation as we grow and will confinue to.
I see BlackHatWorld as constantly evolving where specifically to your point money making ideas are shared and developed within the community - often they can end up as marketplace threads or out in the wild. Business formed, developed, shared and built all within the community - we've just sat down with a company, hopefully taking part in a future interview series - members that have made it starting on BHW this fall (just tuned down a high 7 figure sum!).
It's a constantly evolving ecosystem that we're excited to be part of ..
