The Reason Why I'm Sticking with the Copy Claim Method

Check AirBit mate. I used to do it with a friend with copyrighted video but the CPM was low
Thanks for the heads up! I will look them up and give them a try as the stuff I was uploading was making decent money for me even with the lower CPM. Does AirBit drop people though or are they completely safe?

I liked your method, too bad this happened.

Was this your main income source? There are some quicker methods in money making section if you need cash fast.
Thanks, man, yeah I felt like I was on borrowed time with those networks as I've heard too many stories about people getting dropped from those networks trying this method.

Yeah, this was my main income source until I could turn my safer YouTube channel into a money making machine.

Do you mind sharing with me those quicker methods, I've tried some stuff over the years but it was difficult for me.

They never dropped us. I will start doing this again because I stopped it few months ago.
I was earning like 100max 200usd for 1m views but I sticked with adsense even with copyrighted videos

Thanks for answering as I'm gonna give them a hard look. With the number of views that I have on YouTube, I was making around $1 or $2 thousand a month so I'd love to be somewhere I can make as much money as possible with copyright content and not have to worry about getting dropped.

My biggest issue is getting dropped as I'm probably just not in the right networks because there's plenty of people still making a killing off of copyright content. Some people have told me MCNs can really help with it but nobody wants to share an MCN with me that allows copyright content without dropping you.

How have you been able to do it with AdSense? I've been getting demonetized so fast every time I do copyright content. I never last more than a few days or a few weeks.

The method I linked below seems straightforward, not too complicated and can make you money fast enough to survive. You should also search the forum for those threads asking how to make $$ because some of the answers are pure gold.

Thanks, man, I'll look into it for sure but I'm so bad with anything involving affiliate offers or Clickbank type stuff. YouTube has been my main skill.

You're welcome! But man, you're into music creation so you must be a creative dude, don't say you can't do it. You can use YouTube to drive extra traffic to facebook group, add your own twist. You don't need to use clickbank, try programs like ogads, cpagrip, people say those are the easiest.

I don't know any MCN too. With adsense it has been mostly churn n burn channels.
In few channels where I got demonetized, I talked with YT support on twitter and in most cases they reinstated the monetization

That's a very good question especially for anybody just starting out with this method. I started out using old music that was unclaimed. It's best to upload that music to YouTube on a dummy channel and see if it's already in the system. If it's not then go on ahead and claim it as your own. Sometimes even if it's not in the YouTube Content ID system, the song might still have been submitted to the distributor you're using and the people who submitted are not collecting YouTube royalties from it. This happened to me one time in TuneCore so try to get songs that are very undiscovered as I find songs like that on SoundCloud for the most part with low views.

Honestly in the long run so you don't get in trouble, just pay for new music on Fiverr to be made to keep you 100% out of trouble but make sure the person who creates your music is doing it 100% from scratch and not stealing other people's music.

That's correct you do not have to be accepted in YPP to monetize your music this way. You just need to make sure the channel has more than 1k subs and 4k watch hours to get ads from your music onto your videos. This was my first biggest mistake 2 years ago was not knowing this because I wasted my time on channels that weren't up to those standards and those videos were not receiving ads on them.

Yeah, TuneCore told me upfront that they noticed that I was uploaded clips of a TV show and stashing the music into all of those videos. Luckily I got paid every last cent that was owed to me after they dropped me. I'm trying to figure out how to stay safer in the future.

I'm glad you commented and let us know that because I really want to stay safe with this method but I need to know what's the best way to do it without getting caught. You were doing really well and I'm glad Amuse paid you every last cent and I've heard bad things about Audiam that's why I stayed away from them. TuneCore got me bad as well and I haven't heard anything with CD Baby yet so I just started using them but I'm sure they'll drop you as well if you blow up. That was my only fear is if one video blew up would DistroKid get rid of me?

Are you still using this method today and if you are what labels are using? If you don't want to reveal here DM me privately. I've seen some of them myself they're tough to get into or have a lot of music. I was thinking about getting more music made. I wonder if using the same tracks way too much is killing us?

I'm still more concentrated on monetizing my channels with AdSense as copy claim is really good in the beginning when you're low on money.

You'll definitely still get the claim, you'll share the revenue with the claimer regardless so you won't be completely locked out from making money. I'd suggest getting as many views as possible in that football niche so you can get a decent amount of revenue that you split with the claimer. Also, find some niches where your content isn't claimed by another company as well.

Thanks, man, from my knowledge it depends on the distributor but most of the ones I've seen do require 10k views to get paid so that's true. That's why you need to get involved in high viewing niches if you do this method. I'm not 100% positive sure on that as I hope somebody here confirms it but I do believe it's a minimum of 10k views on the video to get paid.

I'll have to look back through to see if my sub 10k viewed videos got payment.

Awesome man and thanks for sharing your stats with us as you were doing extremely well. This is in DistroKid so are you using other distributors as well?

I want to talk to you in private about something with this so I'll send you a DM shortly.
I’ve gotten money for videos under 10k

Yeah, I'm pretty creative that's why making money through YT comes so easy to me. Trust me man I tried the affiliate stuff for months and it just doesn't click well for me. I believe it requires a skill level because a lot of people struggle with the method. I'm not trying to make excuses but it really doesn't come easy.

That's the one thing that I'm gonna work on is finding a list of MCNs once and for all and contacting them directly about copyright content. I really gotta find them now.

I'm surprised they reinstate monetization since it's copyright content. This is where YouTube gets confusing they say they don't allow it then do.

How long does it usually take to get demonetized again after they reinstate you? Do you stay monetized long enough to receive payment?

I'm kind of at the point right now where I'm sick and tired of worrying about getting dropped. I just want to stick on without worry that's why I'm gonna do some further research on these MCNs.

I’ve gotten money for videos under 10k
I think you can get money from videos under 10k, I'm not certain how it works but I think you can get money for any sized video.

In one channel I got demonetized 6 times in a month.
My videos were like this, copyrighted content with ai voiceover. I tried to edit the voice in editing programs to make it sound more like human voice and in some channels it worked in others it did not work quite well.
If I earned a decent amount of money, I did not touch the channel anymore that month so it had a bigger chance not to get demonetizes and days after they processed the payment, I would start uploading again

Thanks for answering again, that's probably my biggest hangup right now is really trying to get to the point where the payment is processed with no risk. You seem to have it skilled down where you can secure payments.

I think my main channel is a no no for AdSense because it's a sports channel where stuff is recorded straight off the TV with no added in voice over so it's directly on the pirated side of things. I think that I might have to use an MCN or AirBit for that one.

You could probably use an MCN for what you're doing to stay safer but not all the way sure.

This video that a friend of mines who messaged me today found on how channels are able to get away with things when they're under an MCN instead of AdSense:

Mine were sports channel too. Used to upload highlights and the commentary was sth like this "Look how Messi approach the free kick, compared to Ronaldo he scored more free kicks bla bla bla" and the highlight was PSG vs Lyon for example.
My excuse to them when I wrote to monetize me again, was that I was making tactical analysis of the match. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not

LOL on the reason! :D It seems like a complete hit or miss when we try to get that type of content monetized. Like you said it seems to be hit or miss pretty much.

BRAND NEW STRATEGY: I feel like things happen in life for a reason and in this case getting dropped from DistroKid and CD Baby was the best thing that probably could've happened to me. I'm going to graduate from the audio claims method to the visual claims method.

Now that I've been doing deep research on MCNs ever since this happened, I've got an idea from this one Reddit poster that I was reading who is in an MCN and he uses their visual copyright claim content ID system. You can only get access to this feature being in an MCN. I feel like this is going to be way better than the audio claim method for this reason.

The way he described it is when people steal your material or in this blackhat method doing exactly what you did with audio detection and just doing it with visual content you can get passive income while also being to advertise your videos and bring some traffic back to your channel. Whatever videos you have you put it into the system and you get a visual claim for it.

This is great for any OG content you got out there and you can attach it to your videos and you'll make money the same you did with the audio claims. The only thing that I don't know about is how much money you make I don't know yet if it's more than what music distributors pay you or not. If it is more then there's no reason to continue working with music distributors to make money off of copyright content using this method.

Obviously, I haven't tried this for myself yet because I'm still in the process of trying to get at least one of my channels monetized to be eligible to apply and get accepted for an MCN that uses this feature. This is my main concentration so hopefully, within the next few weeks, I'll be able to get into an MCN and update you guys on how this goes for me.

At first, I just wanted to get into an MCN to avoid the troubles that AdSense gives certain channels but this actually gives me even more motivation now because a lot of money could be made from this method.

The only thing that I don't know is if the MCNs would drop you like most of the big music distributors do if you abuse the method. I can't confirm this but I doubt it since MCNs work a little differently, you're not expected to be treated as a music artist so I think you could be a lot more safer.

I'm not using music anymore, I'm gonna focus on video from here on out.

Here's a video that I posted earlier in this thread about abusing the system with these claims, he does video not music:

you´re a legend for these updates man. I have a small monetized channel so I will try to get into some MCNs to try it out. I am very confident this will be worth it in the long run so I will follow this topic in detail

Thanks, man I appreciate it as I really think we took a major step forward doing it with music but now it's time to graduate from that and get into an MCN to take advantage of this method.

You're already on the right track since you have a small channel that's already monetized, you can easily start applying to MCNs that have this advanced feature.

Me too, I'm too confident in this method that this will work out in the long run and we can make a lot of money off of it. Once I'm able to start using this feature that's when the games will begin and I will update regularly about my progress with it.

Starting tomorrow, I'm gonna come up with videos to add to my videos that I will put into the system.

I would love to get into multiple MCNs to do it so I can split the videos up.

Sounds good man, hope you have sucess with the method, please keep updating us , you know you are helping a lot of us, also I wonder if you can share with us any youtube channel (that's not yours obviously) that's using this music cc yt method? I think we can use the channel as an example and start from there, also ty for the other videos you shared.

Thanks, bro, I appreciate you appreciating this method and journey as I will for sure keep you guys updated as it makes me feel great that I've helped so many of you guys since starting this thread. Actually, if you go through this entire thread you will find a video from my main channel which uses this method.

If you read through the previous posts, this method is not something that really works long-term, it's really just for the short-term as I'm working on my next move right now to update the method in a better way without using music distributors.

Without using music distributors? So you want to earn with adsense or something else?

I'm going to try without music distributors but I'll need to get into an MCN to use the visual claims feature.

I'm also trying to grow a channel inside of a safer niche to get my AdSense/MCN earnings going as I'll be able to live off of that money in the future more than copy claim revenue.

I think that it is better to use an MCN, let us know which MCN you decide to join, and how legitimate it is please.
