The Reason Why I'm Sticking with the Copy Claim Method

i have my own song and i have put it in tunecore , the plan is i will make a lot of hot tiktok compilation themed channels and put my song in the video, is it safe?

Hi, Im trying the Distrokid. Do i need to avail the ADD FEATURES "YouTube Content ID" ( https://prnt.sc/ymMIGmmwfaMw ) before it can start the claim? Also, if it needed to be avail, does it mean I have to pay $4.95 every song i upload?

Hey man, i have a question thats kinda stupid but was afraid to use myself as a guinea pig for to know the answer : If you spread your tracks over many distribution platforms (like tunecore, cd baby etc) but happen to get caught by one of the platforms, once the platform that caught u checks ur channel and finds out about everything (copy claiming thing ofc), do they snitch on u to the other platforms that u have ur music on or they mind their own business and only demonetize the tracks thats on their own platform? and do they snitch on u to youtube too?

Is there an actual % pass thru or do they take it all due to the football video use (per se)? I often do this with other's audio but I believe it fully demonetizes the video but defeats the copyright strike from YT toward the account.

Hey bro, I'm not sure exactly but it wouldn't surprise me if they do snitch to the other platforms like I sort of think that's what happened to me earlier this year because I got removed by CD Baby and DistroKid at the same time. It's very possible they snitch or maybe YouTube tells them what's going on with this user or vice versa but I do have a feeling there's some snitching going on.
 
They do not snitch to each other. It's the channel (youtube) that is issuing massive takedowns. Spotify does the same thing. These distributors are too big to spend time tattling on people. Plus, they have no visibility into who distributed a specific song to a specific distributor that is not them.

You're already on the right track since you have a small channel that's already monetized, you can easily start applying to MCNs that have this advanced feature.

Me too, I'm too confident in this method that this will work out in the long run and we can make a lot of money off of it. Once I'm able to start using this feature that's when the games will begin and I will update regularly about my progress with it.

Starting tomorrow, I'm gonna come up with videos to add to my videos that I will put into the system.

I would love to get into multiple MCNs to do it so I can split the videos up.

man im really intrested in all these threads...i get like 10 million views a month but cannot monetize whatsoever , ive been dropped by distro after 10m views..(who knows how much that made) so right now im not sure what to do...

So youre basically uploading songs and you go through the copy claim procedure and make money from each song you upload?

Do you just upload the songs as they are or ad anything else?

What exactly do you do, when you copy claim a song and is this actually even legel is this extremely risky?

it is legal if u talk about government law, but nonetheless u are violating the laws that the company has set up and that u agreed to before creating an account, which will get ur account restricted and ur money withheld (stolen) once caught

are u sure it's the 5M video that caused u to lose ur music? Because I have videos with 7M and still not demonetized, so I would say the reason u got ur account frozen is different than what u think

just avoid loops and royality free samples as well as remixes and ull be fine
 
Guys, starting February 1, can those who publish with youtube shorts and are not youtube partners and use the content ID earn?
 
yes but the content ID is active , and whoever uses the music in the library is also always copyrighted . Isn't that the same as normal videos?
