The Reason Why I'm Sticking with the Copy Claim Method

This method does not work at all. I tried multiple times copy claiming my songs but movie studios always claims my videos first. The videos are always blocked and I even had a song in the intro and it did not work. Having a song in the outro did not work and I did all kinds of editing tricks as well.

I had the footage in black and white with the video mirrored. I had cherry blossom leaves falling across the screen as a overlay effect. I put the video in thermal vision and had the audio version only. None of these tricks worked and neither did changing the color saturation, hue, etc.

Keep in mind my songs were copyrighted and is in the content ID system too. I have no idea how the movie studios copy claim me first and block the entire video. I need some serious help @DStiles and anyone else.

This might sound stupid but... Should your uploaded video already have your music on it? or should you select it from youtube music library? thanks
This is actually a good question and I'm not even sure that I've answered this question yet already in this thread. Any question on here can help any newbies out with this method so I'm glad when you guys do ask them.

To answer your question though your uploaded video should already have the music in it as you don't need to select it from the YouTube music library. Make sure when you're editing your video that you include at least around 45 mins. to 1 minute minimum of your music either in the intro, in the video, or in the outro like I usually do. In the video below if you go to the end you can see an example of how my music is used in these videos.

It definitely works but the reason why it's not working for you is two things with the first one being that you might not be leaving your music in the video long enough as 45 seconds to 1 minute minimum is really idea honestly and try a different song too. What network or distributor are you using?

You gotta be careful with movies and stuff most of their stuff gets blocked easily if you use too many minutes of it. You to do several tests by uploading to a dummy channel that you don't care about until the content is not blocked or try a different movie. Some studios are different than others, some are more stubborn with their content and like more than a minute will have it blocked.

Funny thing is my song is 53 seconds long and I had saw that video you shared explaining how the method works. I am using CD Baby and like I said bro the movie studios are claiming my videos first and blocking it very fast. Like the video will be uploaded and within 5 minutes here comes a claim. You said in your post that you are able to upload copyright stuff without problems and the guy in the video said the same thing. Yet it's not working for me but yet CinemaSins and all those Movie Recap channels get away with so much bullshit.

I remember when Avengers Endgame was coming out a couple of years ago and I had an early copy of the movie before it even hit the U.S. theaters. I did the usual editing tricks and got blocked. A week or two later this other channel uploads the last 15 to 30mins of the film in HD and gets millions of views. How? @DStiles

I somehow adore OP explain and help others with this method, every reply he made is well detailed and answered accordingly
But i somehow wondered if how can a video get a Copyright claim or strike
How can we manage our copyright claimed video avoid getting block if the copyright owner see our video
I somehow asked a youtube creator if i can re upload his videos and said no and how about i will still continue use his content and he gets notified by it is he able to takedown my video? btw im looking to make a compilation video about related to tech builds

and also i have some few questions about the method

is it okay to use my music at the last part of the video? will i still get the royalty if the viewer skipped the last part of the video where my music is placed ?

Does putting affiliate links bellow the video will get flagged? and take down the video?

btw i would like to thanks op because theres a handful things that can be learned by his threads.

you are using movie studio films and says " this method does not work." thats a total bullshit sir. try with something else. that means your movies getting blocked too fast and your editing skills not good as others. some tv content does not even get copyright strike from their company . find those one. you dont need to edit it at all. just download tv series and upload. but you must research alot. nobody will give you everything .

Listen to @desperado596 the method works you need to brush up on your editing skills and find out how to get those movies/shows up without being detected or just upload different shows or movies. Every entertainment company blocks differently and most don't allow you to upload that many minutes of their content. The ones you are using are obvious that they will get blocked. Those are rookie movies you're making bro, get smarter and upload stuff that isn't detected. Like Desperado said you've got to do your own research and find out what lets you upload without blocks.

My goal is to just bring this method to you guys not babysit you guys through the editing process and all of that stuff. If you really feel like this method doesn't work then move on from it.

Thank you as I appreciate your post and your appreciative words. I'm trying to help as much as I can while still leaving room for you guys to do your own research and do this through trial and error.

The whole point of this method is to upload things that you can't monetize within the YouTube Partner Program so sometimes it comes at a risk of uploading other people's content that you don't have permission from but I wouldn't worry about that too much with this method. Just take a chance and if you do get caught move onto the next thing.

To answer your questions, it is okay to use your music at the end of the videos as that's the point of this method is that it needs to be your music playing in the videos. You can really play them anywhere in the video but I prefer at the end if you're uploading something copyrighted so that the viewers have a pleasing experience. Make sure it plays for at least 45 to 60 seconds minimum.

You will still get royalty regardless if the viewer skips where the music is placed this is even the case with videos monetized in the YouTube Partner Program. You get royalties upon the ad being played or the user clicking on the ad.

If you use affiliate links you can place them in the description box as long as it's linked to somewhere YouTube won't ban you, usually, adult sites are banned and some other ones. You will honestly need to do further research with this because I do not mess with affiliate links.

Thank you very much as I'm glad I've been able to help you guys. I have a journey thread too that's been helpful, I will update it once my quiz channel gets monetized.

how many views and how long the videos are?

45 sec? can you do a 15-sec intro and 30-sec outro? That would mean 45 sec right?
When I got paid the $200 from September it was about 96k views and in August it's difficult to tell because I had some videos monetized in YPP for a week. I'll have a clear assessment when the October royalties are paid in another week or two from DistroKid.

If you do 15 seconds in the beginning and 30 seconds in the end that will work as you need at least 45-60 seconds played for the system to pickup on it.

I can reach 100k in a month but the problem is my vids are only 30 sec long so maybe it won't reach $200 yea? How long are your vids on average?

Thanks to the OP to share this method with us, much love.

I m a professional producer and got some deals with some Networks I may try with (Believe, Awal, Warner)
I was wondering how you get all of these views on your channels:

Do you start brand new channel and use SMM panels to get that amount of subs and watchtime to get monetized and paid? If so, is it worth to buy views to get paid by monetization? Anyone tried this way earning with ads?

Or did you get those views and subs organically and you are just taking advantages with this method?

What are the requirements to Join Believe,Awal, Warner?

Can you post the summary of the method in simple terms ?

Yeah, that can be a problem as I'd recommend making them a lot longer at least 2 minutes or more minimum. If you use 45 seconds to 1 minute of your music at the end then that's like a 3 minute video right there. My video lengths are random as it's based on the content but most of them are around 3-20 minutes as I have a lot of 7-10 minute videos as well. If you make them longer and you're able to get 100k views easily then you're in business.

You're welcome, I'm glad I can help and it's great to see such great appreciation from you guys out there discovering this method through me.

Some of my channels had been around for years and rarely if touched at all but they didn't really have content on them so they were basically brand new channels when I started to work on them. Make sure your channels have around 1,000 subs or more and more than 4,000 watch hours so you can start earning revenue from them right away and you can bot these to get to those numbers fast.

Don't bot the actual videos though as that's not going to help those videos grow. Get into a niche that has heavy search volume like stuff that's trending as that'll help you grow quickly.

All my views came organically as I didn't need to bot them because people were already searching for my videos.

Ah right cool. I tried to get into those distributors but got rejected lol. created a fake artist page and everything.
LOL! They must know when people are trying to fake an artist page.

Thanks for sharing OP. Will go through this method.
You're welcome and I'm glad you're going through with this method and best of luck to you. If you need further help send me a DM and I'll try to help you get started.

Can you post the summary of the method in simple terms ?
There's some information already posted in this thread by me and I'd recommend checking out the YouTube video explaining how the method works.

Basically, you just need to get some music made on Fiverr or find some old music on SoundCloud to put on DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby, or Amuse. I'd recommend having around 3-4 songs, you don't need that many to start.

You will attach that piece of music preferably like 45 seconds to 1 minute at the end of your videos on channels with monetized standards of more than 1,000 subs and 4,000 watch hours so the videos can receive ads on them.

Find easy copyright niches where people are actively searching for content so stuff that's trending and build channels around them.

It will take 2-3 months to get your first payment so be patient in the beginning and just work hard.

My advice is don't try to make too much money in the beginning as these distributors will become suspicious and cut you off. Try to start slow and make $30-$50 a month in the beginning. You're not going to be making a living off this method as this is just extra supplemental income. Make sure you're building up an AdSense channel with a safe niche and living off of that channel and using these content ID channels as supplemental income.

For those of you who have been following my journey, I want to thank you again as I much appreciate the love and support from you guys, and congratulations to anyone who's started this method and has started to have some success with it.

As you guys know I made $2.2k from August's earnings back in October then only $200 from September's earnings as these were all-time highs in earnings for me since I started this method two years ago in 2019.

My payment came in yesterday from DistroKid for the month of October and I was back up to $914 for that month off of 655.4k views. I didn't concentrate on this method back in September which was why I didn't make as much that month.

This is great for me because this is what I can expect for the next 2 months because my views have been ranging in this area. Next month will be less than this month but December's earnings are expected to succeed October's because I'm already on pace to exceed those numbers as there's still 13 days left in the month as well.

Based on my main niche as long as DK doesn't drop me before May, I will make a lot in January and February as I'll probably make more than $2k in both of those months. This gives me time to concentrate on my AdSense channel and give it that time to grow.

Thanks OP for this detailed journey thread. Before today I had no idea that this thing even existed, let alone how one can earn money through it.

Nice results. Do you upload daily? If you skip a week, are earnings going to be affected?

I was wondering about the necessity of a monetized channel. Afaik now YouTube monetizes even non-monetized channels (takes the revenue for itself). So shouldn't any channel have ads now anyway? Hence we don't need to reach 4k hours to get paid music royalties ?
